When I first started cardmaking we all bought inexpensive laptop bags. room for A4 card, lots of pockets for all the pens, knife, embellishments, stamp pad and a few stamps. Shoulder strap to help...

While I didn't know what this technique was called, I have used it for a while now. I use it for butterflies. Emboss a butterfly on a colourful page and you get all sorts of colours in the wings.

I use a quilting square. This is 8" square and has lines at 1/8".

Telephone Book

Stamp on an old phone book. Gives a bit of padding so images come out clearer and you can rip the page out when you have finished.

Best of all they are free.
