I too am looking for an answer to this question, as the Stabilo pencils are hard to find, and the General pencils are easier to find in stores. So far I've only been able to find the Stabilo pencils...

I like the thick stuff, but for my "itty-bitty" stamps, they seem to hold their balance better with the thinner mount.
