Can you believe this is our 8th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2015 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2016! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2016! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2015 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc16aug"

Wow ... August 1st ... where has this year gone? I had so much planned for July and think less than half got done. Last night I sat down to finally visit July's gallery and my computer battery dies ... Murphy's Law! So, hubby is off to work, got my cup of Java and off to finish looking through the gallery.

July was a bust for me! I only got 2/6 done. This month, DD goes back to school, so I'm excited to get more done.
August goal: 14 (to make up for my shortage during the summer!)
YTD: 106
I know I missed the deadlines for the VSBN, but I hope that you won't mind if I still complete some of the challenges. They looked fun! Also going to work on the regular challenges too.

So many amazing pages done in July ... you all inspire me to get caught up! Next week will be a slow scrapping week ... this weekend I get my 2 year-old granddaughter for a week! I'm super excited. Of course that means I will have lots of pictures that need scrapping!!!

I only completed 2 pages in July, then another page sat on my scrap desk for two weeks, and then we left on vacation so it never got done. Sigh. . . Oh well, shooting for 10 this month. 42 layouts so far this year, so finishing 10 this month will put me at my yearly goal of 52!
Well ... I didn't get much done for July until last weekend, haha! I did get 9 pages finished for the weekend so that was good. I'll get them posted to the August Gallery
I will be home this weekend so hope to get some scrappin' done but then I'll be back on the road for work so ... hopefully my MOJO will continue to hang around :o
Hope all of you are off to a Scrappy Good Start

I'm an "Olympic Junky" so yes ... I've been glued to my TV watching all the competition, LOL! It made for a very crafty weekend, I got 20 cards and 6 pages done .... several uploaded to the sbc16aug gallery from this month and last month.
All good, scrap on ....

I'm here! I'm here! Summer has just been too busy to keep up! Now that school is starting (this week) my Friday's (my off day) will be my own again and I can get caught up on crafty things. I have my craft room all organized and cleaned so now it's time to mess it up again!!!! LOL!
Yup I will. Wow Sharon, that's a great search! So many fun pages to choose from, I'll get this done when I get back from business travel. I have lots of Summer Beach photos to get scrapped
Great Inspiration

Good morning, ladies! It's 3am and my hubby is snoring like crazy, so I got up and scrapbooked. I'm filling in for Ann this month on the Stash Busters challenge, so it seemed like a good opportunity to work on my sample layout for that. Feel free to hop on over and play along!
I'm off to a slow start even though school is back in session! Seems like the first few days of DD being in school I have been running errands. I have managed to finish 3 layouts so far. Hope to get at least half of my goal done by the end of the week!
Hi ladies. Yesterday I meant to work on a sketch challenge to post, but I ended up rearranging furniture in a big way so didn't get a chance to do that. I'm going to San Diego today so probably won't get one posted today, but I'll shoot for Sunday!
Hi. What is every up to today? I just finished prepping for first day of school (which is tomorrow) so I'm popping in to SCS as a nice "for me" thing!
well, I think I posted that I am (was) an "Olympic Junky", I watched LOTS of events so today I worked on getting our SCS Scrap Decathlon VSBN set up.... the first 5 Events are POSTED HERE and you have 17 days just like the Olympics ....
I hope you'll come and play along with as many Events as possible .... Are you up for the challenge?

Good to see activity here.
Great job on starting up with scrapping some pages Sharon, it's certainly been a busy time for card making.
Perhaps this "back to school" time will allow you young mothers to carve out some scrappy time now.
Thanks Lela for the work you have done in providing us some inspiration - love the mini history lessons too!
We are busy with work in the house, mainly dinning room. Painting one accent wall, reupholstering the chairs and sanding the table for new staining. Got some prepping to do for upcoming events. The yard work has fallen behind too, so lots to do around here.
An update on Tiny Tot - the first few days of kindergarten have challenged my granddaughter to seek something more for Leia. The class is being taught one letter and it has taken a letter for more than one day. "Mom, they are still on the letter M!" she told her mother. She comes home with her paper covered with drawings because she is so bored and asked permission to draw on the back of her paper. DGD has a request in the talk to someone about a "gifted program". I knew it would happen, the pediatricians have always said she is advanced for her age. And she gets to talking too much too which will disrupt the class if the teacher doesn't keep her challenged - lol
