You do such a great job with the Goals thread, Lela, and we're so lucky to have you!!! Thanks for all you do!
And you've given us lots to think about! For the moment, the only thing that comes to mind is that it would be really nice if SCS would give us the opportunity to have a SB challenge for every day of the week like the cards have. That way we could have Tuesdays for digi and the Thursday challenges to fill in between Monday Inspiration, Wednesday Variety and Friday Sketches. And we'd even have two more days we could have in there for weekend challenges.
I just think more people would discover and perhaps do the SB challenges if they could find them on that nice, neat little list on the right side of the home page. Think that might happen one of these days?
One other question--I'm not sure--what is a 3x3?
I appreciate the feedback Wendy! Now is a great time to ask about about listing the challenges in a spot easy to find. We moved them around last year so we had Mon-Fri covered and some weekends with miniVSBN and VSBN. I do agree with you, it would be fun to see more scrapping players!!
"3x3" was the game that we played last year. For every 3 pages you do, someone sends you a "3x3" card. So when I finished 3 pages, I was "eligible" for a 3x3 card. Anyone could send them. 3x3 cards made it easy for everyone to participate because they were fast and easy to make and we could use "scrapbook" scraps for these. We didn't keep exact track, just sent cards when someone did hit "3". It was fun!! I've had a few requests to do this again. What was neat was if you had a week you could make/send 3x3, you sent them when you saw someone complete 3 pages, then 6 pages, then 9...next week you might not but someone else could. We played the whole month.

September Fun!
This month we're going to share the fun of STASH by playing a game called, "Use What I Send You". This will just be ongoing so sign up to play. I have an envelope full of Scrap Goodies from a box of "stash" we sent around last year. I challenge you to use 1 or more of the items from this envelope on a scrap page (or layout). Here's how it works:
1. Sign up in the thread you want to play
2. PM me your address
3. I will send the first person the envelope of STASH
4. Pick out the item or items you want to use on your page
5. Scrap your page and upload to the gallery
6. Add a couple small items to the STASH Envelope (if you want)
7. I will PM you the address of the next Scrap Sister
8. Mail the STASH Envie to the next Scrap Sister
This will be fun and we can play as long as we have Scrap Sisters that want the STASH Envelope. Feel free to sign up more than once. If you do, make one page, send out the envelope, you will get it back another time for a 2nd page (or layout).
Question, let me know. We're keeping this to an envelope of STASH so the postage rates remain "reasonable".

I finished the "Inspiration" Challenge for this week which was to scrap a page from "Anats" Gallery! Lots of great choices ladies if you get to play! Here's my pages:

I've got another one (started) and finally finished...the journaling thing again! I think I've got 2 more like this if I can find them now. Amazing what one can find when you've got to do a clean out/up job! LOL!
First Hair Cut (did this one for Silly September Challenge-Barbershop Day)
Woohoo! Today Scrappy Sisters I got 8 pages done! It was a good, scrappy day! ;) I'm so excited we have a long weekend and I realized my Scrap Mojo must come with my allergies. It was beautiful out today but everytime I tried to go out, all I did was sneeze so I stayed in and scrapped...woohoo!
I don't have any pictures together with my friends:( for the VSBN challenge so I'm using a recent one with my DGS and his Kgarten/Daycare principal. He absolutely adored her and will miss her so much as he goes onto first grade this year at public school. On his first non-school day, we had to go back and give her the rundown of his first week!
Wow, it looks like I need to get over to the gallery and leave a bunch of love. Seems that September must bring on the scrappin' mojo for everyone. Good to see so many pages getting done.

Finally got some time to leave some love in September's gallery! Can't wait until I get time to scrap! I'm taking a Cathy Z. class w/ Big Picture Scrapbooking...never have done that before and am enjoying what little time I've been able to put towards it :-)

OK, brace yourselves--here is a VERY BUSY Thanksgiving dps I did. My DIL made Thanksgiving turkey hats for everyone who came to our house for dinner last year--they were so cute I just had to scrap them. I got a little (okay, a lot) carried away with the paper, though...
Other than her message saying she wouldn't be posting a new challenge this week and that her Mom has several procecures to get done beforee she can go home, I haven't heard. I'm sure her life is in quite an upheaval right now. Guess we'll just continue our prayers and thoughts for her and her mom.

This place is wacky today. I have been in the gallery to leave some love and it appears that there are comments on some pages with my name and avatar but I have not left them. Very strange and taca (Candy) has some pictures in her gallery that are not her pages either. Vey wierd.............But everyone has some great pages already this month. Good job ladies!!!!

I wanna scrap...whaaaaaaa! I've volunteered way too much this year and I'm still swamped with things to do. Today is my first scout meeting of the school year, yesterday I had to do a presentation for our R.A.P. program (reading program for at risk K & 1st graders), plus the girls schedules are up and running...gymnastics last night, Faith Formation tonight, piano tomorrow...art on Saturdays. If possible I'm going to scrap on Friday...wish me luck ;-)
hi, didn't get to scrap like I thought yesterday. I went into my basement ( an ongoing project) to work for what I thought would be a couple hours and turned into 6 hours. I was moving craft storage and found mold on my shelves closest to the window. Yuck! I had to remove everything. Cleaned everything with bleach and let it dry out. I now have to buy new shelves and rearrange the cabinets. Never ends. So, today even though my hallway is cluttered with fabric and boxes of crafts, I'm going into my scrapbook room to finish my pages. I'll worry about the basement later.
