Good Morning all....
My life never seems to go as planned, but amid all the chaos that happened yesterday I was able to spend a few minutes enjoying the rain at the beach and finish my last three LO's for the month of Aug. SO I did meet my Aug. goal and I am so looking forward to a calmer SEpt.....
Well I made my Aug challenge after failing for June and July. I hope Aug was the motivator and that Sept - Dec will have me back on track. I set a goal of 200 pages for 09, so in order to try and make that, I need to get it in gear. For Sept. I'll set my goal for 30 pages and using only stash. I've been on quite a spending spree this summer. Thank you for this wonderful challenge you all are so great and supportive.
Gotta take a break this week--no new digi challenge will be posted. If any of you digi gals would like to post a challenge for this week in the forum, please feel free to go for it!

i hope all is well. i have a sicko kid home from school today...got a a real bad cold!
i am trying to work my way back into scrapbooking and did a digi page to get started yesterday! {pw} denim on the beach by MzPenny at Splitcoaststampers

Can you believe it? It's here already! Welcome Fall! VSBN was a great kick off for this this months scrappin'! well, I'm actually off to finish up a couple pages!

I would just keep it the same and go over. Then you will feel like you accomplished more than you set out to do. If you change it, there is always a risk that something will come up and then you won't reach your newer goal and then you might feel dissapointed. KWIM?

I've been having lots of problems keeping logged in today with the changeover. I can't post in the Scrapping Forum at all! I'm glad I was able to access this!

Actually got a page done tonight and another laid out. Working on trying to finish VSBN Challenges. This was for Bekah's (rdoak03) "hidden journaling" challenge.
Hi! I wondered why I hadn't seen any pages updated lately and then I remembered IT'S SEPTEMBER! I'm in again this month. I didn't hit my goal of 12 pages, but I scrapped 8 pages! That is monumental for me. I told some people that it made me happy. I remember why I love to scrapbook. So, put me down for 10 pages this month. I'm going to give it a whirl!
Oh, yeah! And I didn't spend one penny. That was nice. There are months I've spent lots of money and haven't scrapped a single page.
Looks like SCS almost has everything fixed, I hope!

Divine Digital is starting a new daily kit called Home Grown (Anavon....) In the forum, I am downloading day 2 and 3 but I think day 1 is still available as well.

i want to join in again if that is ok with you all. I have been super busy with school and work and family and have had absolutly no time for scrapbooking. i have mad a few cards and stuff but i need to get back to my books!
my goal for september is going to be 3...i am starting back slow but still hope to make my yearly 100 pages. i have a long way to go but i have over 1700 pics taken this summer that need to go into a book so i have my work cut out for me!!!

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Woo Hoo September!! Well I will be pushing it this month because we are moving again, just around the corner, but a little bigger and will actually have a scrapbook room and get everything out of the kitchen!! I will really try for 10 pages and see how it goes

I've been trying rather unsuccessfully to upload tonight for VSBN. Every time I hit the upload word, my layout from yesterday comes up and then I get an error message. Oh well, will try to do it again tomorrow. I actually went in and deleted yesterday's upload thinking I would just try it again but when I looked, it's still in my gallery! Is it a full moon? lol!

Aahhhh, change. It comes no matter what we do or don't do! Today I helped my oldest son pack up his room and get ready to move to college. I knew this day was coming but it sure didn't make it any easier. I'm excited for him, but I'll miss him. I can't imagine him not being here daily.
Some changes we experience are small and cause little disruptions to our lives, other changes are bigger and we go through the process of adjustment.

Morning!
So yesterday I finally had a chance to peruse the VSBN challenges. Wow!!! What a fuuun bunch of pages that would make!!! trouble is, I have about a three inch stack of photos that I've had printed off and need to scrap before I pay for anymore, lol... HOWEVER, I was able to combine two of the challenges (D & E) last night into my favorite layout ever-for today, hee hee!
So, here are several of my very favorite things put on a then and now page! And I have two of my ten for Sept!
I will be updating Goals this afternoon! Thanks to everyone who has signed up. I don't know about you but my Fall Scrap MOJO has set in and I'm all about getting pages done and in albums. It's so much fun to scrap together. I hope all of you are enjoying our thread.
Believe it or not, I'm already starting to think of changes for next year. I love scrapping with you ladies, all the gallery sharing and want to make sure the thread is fun for everyone.
I'm looking for feedback. You are welcome to share here in the thread or send me a PM. I'd like to know your thoughts on:
- how we can better track goals and completed pages?
- how would you like to see the "budget" challenge structured or should we
just eliminate this? Is it helpful?
- what about Thursday Challenge? Keep it, change it or eliminate it?
- how do mini-vsbn fit into your scrappin plan? Are they helpful, fun?
Monthly too much or just right?
- what other/new/different challenges would you like to see in our thread?
- our most participated challenges seem to be mini-vsbn, 3x3 and March

You do such a great job with the Goals thread, Lela, and we're so lucky to have you!!! Thanks for all you do!
And you've given us lots to think about! For the moment, the only thing that comes to mind is that it would be really nice if SCS would give us the opportunity to have a SB challenge for every day of the week like the cards have. That way we could have Tuesdays for digi and the Thursday challenges to fill in between Monday Inspiration, Wednesday Variety and Friday Sketches. And we'd even have two more days we could have in there for weekend challenges.
I just think more people would discover and perhaps do the SB challenges if they could find them on that nice, neat little list on the right side of the home page. Think that might happen one of these days?
I had to repost Aquarium . It was deleted and any comments posted were lost. I know some of you did look at it and comment since I got notification in my email but I never saw any of them.
Also did Creativeness for VSBN while I was waiting for SCS to get the kinks ironed out.
For the moment, the only thing that comes to mind is that it would be really nice if SCS would give us the opportunity to have a SB challenge for every day of the week like the cards have.

One other question--I'm not sure--what is a 3x3?
I agree with you Wendy on the first 2 paragraphs. With the new digital studio coming out, more would notice the scrapping and that should really help the sales of this item. And I was wondering the same thing about the 3x3?
