Can you believe this is our 6th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2013 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2014! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2014! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

Challenge 2014
This is where we'll have links to the Weekly Challenges! These are GREAT for Inspiration, we have Terrific Hostess and let's try to support them as much as possible!
Year to date pages done is 206, 17 of those pages done in October.
Pages for the month 10 since we are starting to get into that busy time of year. I have joined the 5th week challenge so that should give me a jump start on the month.
I'm in for an even dozen! I made my goal and then some with 14, so maybe I can do the same this month!
Although at this rate, I won't make my yearly goal, and I still have tons of digi pages to do, but I am having too much fun playing with paper and ink! Maybe I will pick that back up next year!

Back to basics! I love paper and ink~I had to send my eclips in for repairs (I think I used it too much!), so having to go without is widening my scope of stash busters! LOL I may not make my goal for cards, but I'm hoping with Christmas around the corner I'll come close! We'll see if participating in the November VSBN I can make my goal for scrapbooking!
I did 12 layouts for October which brings my YTD to 116 layouts done. Wow~I just counted the challenges and if I do a 2 page spread for each one, I'll get 15 layouts done! Seems a little overwhelming at this time, plus the stash buster challenge....hmmm....for my November goal I'll say 20 layouts!

We had a good visit with DS this weekend in KY. Now time to go home for another busy week. We have WIFI now in our vehicle so I'm going to try it out and order pictures to pick up this week for VSBN. Oh technology,

Well, October for me was a bust for scrapping- I got ONE page done. I started a few weekly pages but didn't actually complete any... I'm going to be really crazy and set a goal of 25. I really don't think I can reach my yearly goal (that would be 56 more pages) but I need to make calendars for grandparents Christmas' gifts again, and I really wanted to finish a whole year of weekly pages...not to mention the specific events that need scrapped! If I set my goal high, maybe I'll push myself to come close..? haha...
Oh, and last month I mentioned here that I had a photo project to display for my FIL's 90th bday party...my blog post about it is HERE, and my project turned out like this, with photos on the back of all the ones you can see:

I picked up all my photos after work today. Stopped for new Trimmer Blades and Adhesive .... I'm Ready, Ready, Ready for VSBN this weekend

I made two more pages, I love, love, love the Stampin Up! Embosslits, they make cute little paper buttons and such. I was never a big shot girl before, but, the things it makes, well I've found a new love. I just hope I don't wear it out! I will be around next weekend, I'm not sure how I'll fit the challenges into my book, but I'll give it a try!
I sort of made my yearly goal, with the 80 some smash book pages I made this summer, but since I'm taking them all apart, it just doesn't count.
So with October I'm at 293- 72 from my yearly goal, just might not happen, but you never know!
There is a local crop in Dec, and I am trying to talk myself into attending!

We sat outside a Starbucks for several hours this summer so I could upload photos, DH and the pups really weren't happy about it, but I wanted those pics! They were lucky i was only uploaded 1/3 of the pics i took! I uploaded all 2000 some pics I took into photoshop and made them 2x3 - 2 pics per 4x6 and then printed 2/3 of them at Costco for 10 cents each. They fit better on the smaller size and definitely cut the cost of printing- 2000 pics were about $100, instead of $200- seems like no matter digi or paper, it is really easy to spend money on this hobby!
But, since I sold nearly all my supplies before we moved from Las Vegas, I don't have to worry about not using my stash- it's someone else's stash!

Lela, I take it that you have data plan for the WIFI in your car and when you are using it it uses your data up, like it would on a phone when used away from home. Is that what you mean about DH saying you can't have that much time? You are right, technology is wonderful, I could totally see myself doing something like that too, only I do all the driving and now that all the kids live close we won't be making long trips every year.
I'm just learning how to send my photos in from my computer to be printed, saves lots of time editing while at the store but I found that I get better quality prints, color wise, when ordering directly from the machines at the store. Not to mention the cropping!!
I have a code for a digital 8x8 scrapbook that I won at a crop this year but it needs to be used by the end of December and I haven't done digital before!!! Are there any free digital for dummies scrap sites I can view. I will have to find my card with the code again, but it maybe that I can just put something simple together using their site, I think it was from snapfish......

Nope, it is from Shutterfly.
Shutterfly should have some templates that you can just pop your pics into and add a bit of journaling!

I just did a shutterfly book fo my sis. I would rather do tradional! It was difficult for me to get things the way I wanted them. Even though they put the photos in a template, it was not fun for me! Good luck!

oh yes, my, my, my .... you can use your data plan up so quickly ... w/ DH driving and I'm just sitting in the passenger seat shopping away ... LOL.

But, I did go on a scrapbook retreat and get some pages done…. and have an all day crop this Saturday. Should I just set my goal for November to encompass Sept/Oct since I didn't check in?! If so, put me down for 25 for November (which is really for all three months of Sept-Nov.) if that's ok?! Sorry!! Anxious to count what I have and see where I am though!!!

I'm headed out but not for Vacation, I'll be on the road for work all of this week. Glad I got lots of pages done for VSBN but I can honestly say at this point "I'm scrapped out". LOL. I've packed some Christmas Card stuff hoping I get some time this week to work on that project.

It has been a busy week and week end for me. I had planned to scrap for VSBN but have not gotten a page done yet. I put all my photos in bags hoping to get papers chosen for them but didn't even get that far. I hope to work on them this week........
