Back from Yosemite and trying to catch up on the chatter. I left a few comments in the gallery but the rest will have to wait until after church. Maybe I can scrapbook, too, in between laundering all our dirty, smokey clothing. It was a great family time, but with the fire burning to the west of Yosemite, the valley was full of smoke most days. Very low visibility and terrible air quality. It felt like living in an ash tray that someone was still using. I changed the filter on my CPAP machine last night, and the thing was black! My funniest memory was going to a ranger program on Friday night, only to be told by the ranger that it was cancelled due to poor air quality. We all laughed because we'd been living with this air quality for a week before management apparently noticed it might be bad for us! However, it didn't stop them from reassuring people the park was still open. Anything for a buck, I guess, even in our national parks. Good to be home and sleeping in my own bed, breathing clean Los Angeles air - LOL!
Hi everyone! Where has the month gone? Sorry I have been MIA. We had my daughter's bff come visit for 10 days and then went on a camping trip. Seems like I never am productive with scrapbooking during the summer months, even though I want to be! I will def. be back next month once the kiddo is back in school ;) I can't wait to see all the fun pages from all your summer vacations!

I agree with you Liz, where has this month gone? Of course, I started the month in Vegas, then Reno, home for a week, now Chicago and then Seattle for 2 weeks! This Summer has been all about the Traveling West for me. Im loving every minute of this new adventure but my goal of staying caught up scrapping is going to be put to the test. Im going to a Crop next weekend and plan to finish 2017, album 2. Ill be so happy to have another album finished. Its crazy, I have so many albums 75-85% done ...
Yes, this month is running to the finish line. I agree with Lynn, enjoy your adventures and kids when you can!
I'm working on a birthday card for Leia and a card for Jovy's baptism. Then to get everything in the mail.

Have adventures while you can. I never imagined that I would be on disability at age 54. So go enjoy!
So true, so very true ... I'm definitely trying to enjoy every minute of it. Best part is then when I look at all my photos, I think of how much fun I had, it's going to be great scrapping
Hope all of you are having a scrappy week ...

Speaking of sewing, I just mailed a doll nightgown and a doll dress to Tiny tot! I'm thankful that I could do it for her! And instead of a card I turned it into a mini album.
This is my base. Two shots of the album are posted.

Got my first post-vacation layout scrapped. I was going to work on it yesterday, but instead I decided to start my two youngest kids' school albums. I haven't scrapped any pictures of them yet since I'm about four years behind in my scrapping and that's when they came to live with us (yes, it is their fault I can't keep up with my scrapping - LOL!), so I decided to let them create their own school albums. I printed a bunch of photos from their first couple years of school and they each did a page of the first day of school. The layouts are very CM 1990s style, but I figure they have to start somewhere, and if they wait for me to make their albums, they won't get them until they are 40! Really proud of my kiddos. Anyway, here's the page I did. Played along with the Stashbusters challenge.
I'm still in Seattle until Friday. Been having a BLAST! Did lots of sightseeing on some afternoons off and this weekend I went with some scrappy gal friends to a Scrapbook Retreat! So fun. Lots of pages started, in process and some completed! It's all good
I plan to get our August Thread set up Monday as Tuesday and Wednesday are Work Events
Wishing you all Scrappy MOJO
