I was getting tired. My DH already found a spelling error in the journaling, so will redo that later. Right now have to get ready to pick friends up at the airport that have been trying to get home since yesterday and have been stuck first in Arizona, then Denver!

I have a few more pages to add for the month, plus I wanted to say thank you for the wonderful comments. It is taking me a bit to remember all the things I need to add to the description for each layout. Good thing they have an edit button!!
I see Sharon has been scrapping like crazy this month!!

Cheryl, I will have to read the back threads for the months I was gone to see what your new life entails.
We are home - all in one piece thankfully. There were tornadoes that touched down in Virginia as we were leaving. Didn't see them, just lots of the damage in the wake.
I made two pages since I've been home, both are quick pages with the Lea France stencils/templates. Happy to see the pages being done, especially glad Snowflake is back.

Tonight of course, when I just wanted to stamp there was much to get caught up on since I was gone all weekend but I managed to get in a couple cards and laid out a scrap page

my hubby had some fun new visitors come enjoy his Big D theater the other day and it made national news. Good Morning America picked it up. Check out the link and clip here...
Checking in from NYC :-). DD2 is taking a nap, I've exhausted her, lol! We are off to dinner later with her babysitter who is now an OB/GYN up here...how time has flown! Still no scrapping but maybe this weekend when we get to VA for the next (& final) summer tournament.

Cute movie goers, I forgot abut that movie coming out this summer. One I would like to see.
My Mojo is always on overdrive when I am short of time, right now it take me 24 hours to make one page, taking into consideration that I can't stay focused for more than 10 minutes at a time!! I have a two pager just about done except for the title and journaling and anything else that I think to add.
Guess I have too much time on my hands, kind of!
Hi ladies. I don't get to check in much right now, but wanted to say hi. I'm so looking forward to August 18th when the kids go back to school. I love them but they really take it out of me. It used to take me a day of working on a layout on and off to get it finished; now, it takes me a week. Even when I have free time, I just sit and stare at my scrapbooking supplies and can't get my brain to figure out what to do with them. It would be comical if it weren't so sad! Anyway, today was a happy day since I not only finished up this week's layout, but I got it posted. Woohoo!
I have another layout done. Now I'm continuing the studio redecorating by painting the walls, mounting the TV onto the wall, removing some of the floor cabinets, and washing curtains. Then there is the ongoing purge of stamping supplies.
My son and his wife have a great love of lighthouses, many of their wedding photos are taken at one of the lighthouses on the Outer Banks. They spent a day touring all or as many of the lighthouses along the shore. Let Me Be
I need to catch up in the thread, but for now I'm linking up the page I just uploaded... School Pool Day
and wishing the summer wasn't so packed and had a little more free time! Oh well...its all good stuff....

Could someone please send me some scrappin mojo...I just cant seem to get with it this month. I have 4 of 13 pages completed and have lost all of my mojo! I have been sitting at my desk for over 3 hours trying to put a page together and no results yet! Think I will fix an early lunch and try again later. :(

I just wanted to say thank you so much Wendy & Lela! He impresses me too! I shouldn't be surprised tho- he's always got a big new idea to try and almost always succeeds!
And, Wendy, I chose his outfit, haha. 12 is a big deal in our church, which is a big deal in our lives, so I wanted him dressed to show the part.

I'm trying to get caught up on my challenges and pages, but am having some REAL BIG ISSUES with my computer! I'm using an old one because my good one is in the shop. I'm sooo ready for a new system!!!
I've gotten a few pages uploaded (it only took over an hour :twisted but I'm still having major issues trying to link everything!!
I hope to get my old computer back tomorrow, in the mean time, if you want to pop over to my gallery, I do have the Stashbuster Challenge for this week posted. I'll try to link everything up and post all the pages in the appropriate galleries/forums as soon as I get my good computer back!

I will have to spend the day tomorrow catching up on the gallery and taking pictures of my "new" studio. I have to say it is looking good and feeling good to finally get the majority of the work completed. Now all I have to do is keep it looking good!!
I did not put any cards or altered art in my goals for 2014 but here is a little peek at on latest tag work. Something new for me.......
My 3 week excursion is over but now the clean-up ;-). I never did crack open my laptop to scrap, didn't have as much down time as I thought. This week I have to pack up my Master Bath & Kitchen for the remodel and we leave for a long weekend of camping in less than 2 weeks. The DD2 starts back to school the 11th. Hopefully next month I will find some scrappy time and the mojo to go with it!

I had a last minute opportunity to join some GF in Lancaster, PA for CKC Event. Lots of fun ... I'd never been to one of their events before. It was good but the best part was the photo ops in downtown Lancaster. Wow, very fun spot, some neat architecture
