I'm kind of like derck, being a seasonal scrapper, but this is not my season. I do more with school happening. But you already got started with making yourself a goal. Now you just need to find some time to make them and show them off to the rest of us. Hope you enjoy your time here!

Still no scrapping here for me either...boo hoo hoo...I'm with the rest & having scrap envy.
I was just checking my e-mail and wanted to share with you this Groupon I got regarding breakfast with Disney Characters in case any of you are planning a trip to Disney World between now and November.
Big Fat Zero for scrapping here too. I don't know where the first 18 days of July have disappeared to, but I know I haven't spend any of it in my scrapping area.

Good for you for figuring out the link! I checked out your layouts in the gallery, and they all look cool (Running is my favorite), but your photos are so small, it's hard to see the details. :(

Thanks for that it's a layout of me and my DH running and our times, placings and pace are journaled etc, so maybe it's a good job you can't see the detail ;)
I know I'm a real technodunce, I can't upload to the gallery because they're too big so I crop them and then they come out too small!!!! One day it'll all come together but until then ......

Yeah for you and figuring out the hyperlink...that's a hard one!
How are you loading them? Maybe one of us can help you out...
I just went to look at your pages and your keyword caught my eye. You are using sbc11jul-carsoncat as your keyword. You do not want to put '-carsoncat' in the keyword because then it won't show up in the sbc11jul gallery but you will see it in your personal gallery.

I need to go clean up a few things and then I think I will sit in front of the boob tube leaving comments in the gallery and getting inspired...I may actually get some scrapping done tomorrow afternoon :-)
Hey ladies! So, wanted to give an update...my grandma did not have her surgery yesterday...there was an abnormality on her EKG and stress test so they wanted her to have a heart cath before the surgery...that was today. Good news is that her heart cath showed no blockages or abnormalities! Bad news is that it is colon surgery and she had already done the complete prep for Monday and now has to go through it again for Friday...
Left the house about 6:30 this morning to take her for her heart cath and just got home about 4:30...so, now I am cleaning up the house and HOPE to have some time to scrap tonight!!!

I am learning the ways of this new site. I created an album and put 2 pictures in it. They are pages I did prior to July, but wanted to share them with you anyway.
I took pictures of the July pages & will try to get them up-loaded very soon.
I have a question. How are you gals putting your goals/accomplishments, links to threads you are in, etc after your name? It seems like that might be a handy way to keep track of where you are hanging out the most.
I posted some layout in the gallery. I completed two layouts yesterday, but I must have overdone it because today I have a pain in the middle of my back. Oh, the joys of getting old!

You do it from your profile. Look for the signature section and add a link. I usually type in the info I want to appear in my signature ("My Blog," for example) and then copy the URL (it starts with http) that is found at the top of the page I'm trying to link to. It may take some experimentation, but you'll get it eventually.
Wow! You ladies have been VERY creative this month! I got through 1/2 of the gallery last night but made so many a favorite to go back and 'borrow' ;-) I'm hoping to get a few things done today and then scrap the afternoon away...I need the mental relaxation that scrapping brings, DESPERATELY!
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer ~ make it an enjoyable day!!!
Good morning all. Vacation was wonderful but boy is it hard to get back into the swing of things once it's over! Never did catch up with Anavon while in Myrtle Beach or my other friend that I graduated with...but I did get lots of pages done while "chilling" out. I haven't even opened up Photoshop since we've gotten back. My DH went into partnership with a friend of his and they merged both their shops so we've been busy with that and now it adds another layer of bookkeeping to my daily duties. This week my regular job has been slowing down so I've been able to leave a little early but it's just to get other things done at home....never seems to end sometimes. Hopefully I'll be able to get a chance to go thru the gallery soon to get some inspiration and leave love too! Have a good day today...it's gonna be a HHH day for us in PA! Stay cool!
Hey ladies! I actually got some scrapping done last night! 2 pages! WOO HOO! And, my project life album is up to date. YAY...hope to post pics tonight!

Oh ladies...I have a funny story for you...
So, this morning, I roll out of bed as usual and the first stop is the kitchen to let the doggies out. So, I open their crate door and go from the kitchen into the utility room, shut the door behind me and then open the door to the outside to let the puppies out...when I turn back around, I realize that the door back into the kitchen is shut and LOCKED. Did I mention I just rolled out of bed and am wearing a t-shirt (no bra) and underwear (no pants)...no shoes for that matter...my phone and keys and everything are locked inside...PANIC!
I am freaking out...I can't go to the neighbor's house because 1 - I really don't know know them and 2 - I AM NOT WEARING PANTS (did I mention I am also not wearing a bra??)...so I tug on the door WILLING it to open...doesn't work...then I get a hammer and think of busting the glass so that I can reach through and unlock the handle, doesn't work...get a drill bit and try to pick the lock, doesn't work...I am FRANTIC at this point, the dogs are barking, I am crying...so I spot a screwdriver and am able to pry the door frame enough away from the door that I can clear the lock...
Needless to say, it was an exciting start to the day ;) And yes, I know it is hysterical and I am still laughing at myself...also, the door from the kitchen to the utility room will now forever remain unlocked...there is a deadbolt on it and so that can be locked at night time but the handle, never again...
So, I hope I have entertained you and given you a BIG belly laugh for the day!

Not sure I was laughing, as I had a similar experience a few months back. My dilemma was right after getting up (similarly dressed the way you were, but I was able to grab a robe!) I turned on the kitchen faucet and it blew off and water was GUSHING all over the place. No DH (works night shift), no water turn-off outside (broken) and I couldn't find anything under the kitchen sink to turn off. Had to run next door at 6:00 a.m. and bang on the door until the woman of the house opened it. I don't know them and they speak Spanish. Had to get through to her what my problem was. Finally, she understood and her husband came over. He's a plumber, so he knew right where to look. Thank goodness. Spent the next 2 hrs. cleaning up water.

Have your nerves calmed down yet?????
Yep, they have calmed down...I am at the point where I just laugh at it! LOL...I can't imagine your situation though!!!

Okay, I am kinda starting to get the hang of this...
I put my July pages (and a few others) in my album.
(Tea Party pages 1 - 8 are the July pages.)
Hope you enjoy. (-:
Try this: Before you go into your photo, once it is in your gallery, right click on the title, then click on copy shortcut and copy it in here.
And you can also go to go advanced, and type the title, then higlight it, then go to click guy with sunglasses at the top, and past it in there. take out one of the htps, somehow it always in there twice.
Maybe someone else can do better explaining this.
Ok, this is still my first page, but I played with it. I just couldn't quite leave it alone as I wasn't happy. Basically I added some Not Quite Navy to my Baja monotone page. I am much happier with the result.
I am sure this sort of thing is why it takes me so long to get pages done!
Becca & Wendy...your home stories CRACK ME UP...you better get those scrapped ;-) We're chllin' out here today so I will be in my scrap room later this morning...not sure if I'll remember what to do! ;-)

HA! I do a Project Life Album and so I will be sure to record the story in there ;)
Got 2 more pages done last night, that is 4 for July! Call me butter cause I am on a roll!

BOHO CHIC
Bohemian patterns are all the rage. Think swirls, paisleys, flourishes or anything with a detailed pattern and a muted or distressed color scheme.
