Lou Ann I had to laugh- my journaling really is just that I talk too much. I always use way more words than necessary. And on the digital pages I just make the font size fit, hahaha! A beach scrapbook sounds fun! I'm glad you're going to scrap for you! YOU are important too! You too Pia!
I cut the center out because on these pages, three sides don't even show half an inch of the DP, haha. And I bought this pack of DP for this trip to the beach, and I can't get more, haha! We'll see how much I end up using..... ha!
I am hoping to scrap some more tonight.

Tanya, later in life your kids will be happy you're a talker when they can read everything that happened on vacations & at their events. Our photo albums from when my kids were little have no journaling but right now we can tell them the stories so I should be going through them now & writing it down before it's to late!!
Yes, Lou Ann, write down what you can!
Since 2017 I have been scanning and captioning all the photos that belonged to my grandparents. One grandmother wrote on the back of a lot of photos, but the things she chose to write crack me up. IE- they bought their second home in 1972 and lived there til they passed away in 2009/12. But randomly through the 80's and 90's she wrote the address the photo was taken at and nothing else. .....kay.... haha! The other grandmother rarely wrote on the back of the photo so we just get to guess and do detective work to figure out the who, what, where, and when. Which is why this is still a project. It's a ton of work!
I did get one more Disney page done last night: Star Tours

So nice to see you all chatting and keeping us focused on scrapping. I got a new cartridge for my my Cannon Selphy, and printed off Valentines photos. It seems to be working. Now to get the pages scrapped!
Two more pages today so that brings my total for the month to 13.
I will see if I can get them loaded tomorrow, right now my desk is loaded with random photos that need sorting and boxed. How do all those pictures sneak into spots all around my craft room?
This layout is missing one photo which I've been waiting for but who knows when I'll get it so I decided to post it anyway. The right page is the January challenge to Scraplift Shirleysgirl aka Amy to honor her as last Featured Stamper of the year, 2022. The layout I chose Mom and Me by Shirleysgirl at Splitcoaststampers worked perfectly for these photos! The photo of the layout is very washed out & no matter what I tried I couldn't get the colors to stand out. The tree was just beautiful & a perfect backdrop for their photo shoot.
