I made my goal for January but when I scrap with others I tend to do more pages.
I don’t know that February will be a big scraping month and for sure March will not be.
I want to go for 10 in February.
I will stick with my 10 pages. I have a crop with friends Saturday. I grabbed an 8.5x11 Christmasy album at a thrift shop recently, I am going to use that to scrap a Disney trip that I took my mother on. We were celebrating her being cancer free and went at Christmas time. I made her an album of trip but not one for me. I'll get it started tomorrow and work on it Saturday. I have so much Disney stuff, I am looking forward to Saturday. I haven't seen my friends for a bit.

Thank you! Yes I do. Easier than measuring & the photo is always centered.
I keep looking at them but I’m not sure if I would use them enough to justify the cost. I’m pretty sure they will be at ck when I go. I’ll give them a look.

I have used the basic dies the most. I quite a few of the specialty dies & have a hard time finding the right photos. I hope they have classes to help me get started. Mosaic Moments has some good sales which is when I but mine.
Checking in. I still can't update my signature, but that's alright.
In January I got 21 of 12 pages done, lol. I'm quite happy about that.
I was hoping to get a lot done this month but it's the 4th and I'm not sure when that will happen, lol, so I'm going to set my goal for 10 and see how it goes.
I do appreciate the challenges and hope to get to play with them soon!

2024 Scrapping Goals: May: 13/20; April:11; 2024: 59/125
I scrapped today. It was weird going back to 8.5x 11. I’m doing it. I need a few more pictures. I’m using pictures that I had on hand after finishing my mothers book. There are a few missing. I got 10layouts done!

Finally finished these pages up after rearranging the photos for the last 2 days! Glad I did because I'm very happy with how they turned out. I have another 2 pages almost done just waiting for one more photo from my DGS.
Sharon,
We had a lot of fun! It is always great when we can get together. It is hard to plan, our schedules are so different. I got a lot of pages done! Mostly, it is great to see them. There are 6 of us, 4 are really card makers and only two of us scrapbook. I do both.

Hello everyone! I did reach my Jan goal of 10. Will set February at the same 10 and hope I can get there again. Moving my son and DIL into their new home this weekend in St Louis. Hope to break into some scrapping new week.
Hi hi, long time no see to a few familiar faces! So happy to see this is still going!
I'm back on the crafting wagon and am making it a goal of mine to just get stuff done. So I don't really have a goal for the year but at the same time hope to make 8 layouts a month so I guess that sets my yearly goal for me lol!
Feb goal: 8 layouts
2023 goal: 96 - I'm starting this month but I'll find a way to make up for January somewhere!
Welcome back Kel! I have put your goals in post 2 with the rest of us! If you need inspiration ther are challenges in post 3. We are so excited to have you join us!
Feel free to tell us a little about yourself, so we can get to know you.
FYI, I am retired living with my retired husband. Before the pandemic we cruised lot and I have those albums done. I find those kind easy. Now I am trying to do heritage ones of all the old photos I have inherited from different relatives. Those are more difficult, sifting through so many.
Anyway , so good you are joining us.
Hi Pia!! And thank you for the warm welcome Sharon!
I’m a happily married mama to 3 boys ages 19, 15, and 8. We also have 5 fur babies - 2 10 year old pups and 3 kittens who will be 1 year old next month! I work multiple jobs while trying to finish my MA degree so crafting is really a stress reliever for me.
We love traveling and Disney so I’ll have tons of those pages along with the pets. I do mostly 12x12 and pocket pages but also love cardmaking and COPIC coloring!
Looking forward to getting some scrapping done this weekend. It’s been a while since I’ve made a layout/pocket page so I’m so excited to get some pictures scrapped.
I've gotten some pages done this month!
So a year ago this week we took the kids to Disneyland for the first time, and spent one day at the ocean/beach because they'd never seen that either. Between our four phones we took about 650 photos and videos of that day alone. And this is why I will NEVER catch up. holy cow, family....! hahaha.... (you know I took the most pics....) Ahem. But that means I want to cram a LOT of photos onto the beach pages. So I've decided to do the photo part digitally, and then add to it somehow. I've only gotten these four pages done so far, and three are just "mounted" on to a sheet of DP, which actually I trimmed the center out of, rather than "waste" it behind the photos. But one I added a stamped and brushed strip to. I have different ideas for different pages, I just need the time to do it all, haha. And the time to narrow down which pictures to use! Newport Beach Beach Selfies Beach Wrap Up
And then this page for my daughter happened this week, haha.... It was a little bittersweet with it being the last of the first lost tooth, but she has three more loose right now so it's not like I'm done, ha. But she has been really excited so I scrapped it for her. Lost A Tooth

2024 Scrapping Goals: May: 13/20; April:11; 2024: 59/125
Tanya, I will check out your pages this evening. First we have a Skype call with our Daughter and family.
I am so glad you are getting so much done. 650 photos in one day! Like you said Holy cow!! I also cut the middle out of my layering panels. However, I Don not know why as I will never run out of paper in this lifetime! LOL
Have you all heard of Alice Boll of Scrap Happy? She is the one that does Calvin Ball every March and I am on her email, so I get email when she does a live scrap about once a month. And there is a giveaway each month , too. So I got a two page layout done today while watching her. I have to photograph it yet.
I will be back when I get my layout photographed.
Oh, my goodness! The sketch I used is from 2010. I had it printed off in a notebook. Tanya I notices you did a page for that sketch. It is one from Salster. Do you remember her?
Yes, Sharon, I remember Salster. I love using sketches so that was an easy challenge for me to play along with. I haven't heard of Scrap Happy, thanks for the suggestion. Hoping to work on pics tonight!

Sharon - I feel SO GUILTY when I don’t punch out or cut out the middle of my panels. But sometimes it’s so time consuming and like you, I think I have enough paper to last me for the next decade. But what if I run out of that one color and just needed that one punch or something?!? Haha.
I was just about to sit down and scrap but the power went out. Getting my kids settled and then hopefully will find time to do something. So bummed! Tonight was supposed to be scrappy time but then all these last minute things… boys I tell you. No planning or forethought. Oh well, have a nice night everyone! There’s always tomorrow!
Tanya,
I like what you did with the beach pages. I have to admit that I never cut the center out. Like Kel, I think I will never use all my cardstock and paper. I did work on sorting scraps this weekend. I have files for colors, but as I am crafting I just keep a big pile going. The pile was sorted. I also have my husband cut and score my card bases. It is so much easier to have a bunch on hand. He works on the scoring while he is watching tv.
I did make on scrapbook page yesterday. It is for my great-nieces's scrapbook. I forgot to include a Christening page, ooops. Her Christening is soon so I will give it to my niece to add to the book. I did make a few cards too!

I got another digital layout done last night and uploaded this afternoon. This is of my daughter's senior class dinner/dance, which she attended with a group of friends.
I did 2 layouts today. I’m struggling with the smaller size, I can’t fit as many pictures! I have to make sure I have enough page protectors for the smaller album too.

Tanya - your daughter is gorgeous! And it looks like she had a ton of fun.
Pia - good luck with the smaller size! One of the reasons I do 12x12 pocket scrapbooking as my main form of memory keeping is because it’s so hard for me to pare down pictures to use in the albums. so it’s easier to just have extra pockets I can shove more pics into without too much thinking lol.
Four layouts done Sunday and Monday. I’m participating in a challenge called Bashbowl in one of the FB scrapbooking groups I’ve joined. There’s three games (weeks) that run Thurs to Mon and when you sign up you’re placed in one of two teams. Then they give one big supply list with each item/technique earning so many points up to a touchdown (7 points). Each page/layout you submit can be it’s own touchdown, so you just try to get as many layouts done and points as possible for your team within the game period. Some people get 20+ layouts done but I’m just happy with my 4!! This alone is seriously more than I’ve scrapped in years.
I’m also trying a monthly challenge just for myself on my blog called the 2x5 Collection Kit Challenge where I take a collection kit plus whatever else I have from that line and try to make 2 each of 5 different things. Double page and single page layouts are numbers one and two of the 5 so I got to knock that out too!
Kel,
I am only doing the smaller size because I found the book at a thrift shop and am trying to use what I buy. It is a nice Christmasy plaid. My mother and I went to WDW a few years ago during Christmas. I made her a nice gift book already, this is just for me.
I like your challenge idea. My own challenges are usually to scrap a trip or event. I am getting better. This group has gotten me back on track. My big challenge this year is around gifts, I want to make the gifts we give or at least a card to go with a gift. I have been giving out sets of cards, so fart I am doing well with it.

I saw everyone talking about cutting the center out of your cardstock & I do it if I'm adding a large piece of paper. I figure I can alway use it for mats or die cuts, etc.
I finished these 2 pages today & have 2 more almost done but I'm waiting on 1 photo from my DGS.
I went by my LSS today for adhesive & she still had the cutest small beach scrapbook on display for a class that I had wanted to take last year. She said she wasn't able to get any more of the paper but she was planning on getting something different along with the album. I asked her if she wanted to sell the display & she said YES! I jumped right on it. I never scrap anything for myself so this will be all about my hubby & me! Now I just need to decide what photos to add.
