January sped by us, and we are into February already! How are all you scrappers doing? Did you set a goal. If you want to set a goal and we will track it together and encourage each other. I did 6 layouts last month, one over my goal! So I am 6/60 YTD. I will set my goal for 5 again.

I was way over my January goal. Thanks to a weekend crop. I’ll put myself down for 10 again. I am at 61 for the year. My real goal this month is to post some in the gallery.

I keep trying. I just made 2 pet sympathy cards. I am crafting this weekend too. My husband has a scout event even though he retired as scout master last year.

I posted 4 pages in my gallery with the keyword for January. I should have scrapping time tomorrow. I think I will be stuck home without my car. It will be a great crafting and movie watching day. I do have to bake cookies for a dinner event.
Hi to the Split Coast scrappers! Hard to believe that we are well into starting the second month of the year. January I was able to complete 21 scrap pages as I went to a crop the second week of the month were I did 16 pages, then 5 more by months end.
I can’t say I have started one for February but I do have numerous cards in one stage or another this week.
I have reconfigured my crafting space so now I have a scrap desk and a card making desk. It’s working out well but have not configured each “station” to best suit the needs for cards or layouts. Hence I go between desks often. It will get there…in the meant time I hope I keep the mojo flowing.

I don’t know that I will set a goal for the year as I lose count by the middle of the year.
Sharon, Sharon! So glad to hear from you! I am glad you are still scrapping! As to one area for each….I have one desk, and I scrap, make cards, and junk journals, so it is difficult to do them at same time. I have a junk journal mess right now. I have to finish this months junk journal before I scrap, then I clean, and make a scrapbooking mess! Always a mess. The good news is I can make cards among all the mess! LOL.
so, even though you aren’t setting goals, I hope you will chat with us and upload some of your gorgeous pages for our inspiration!
I'm not setting a goal for Feb since I only did 3 in Jan. Just not getting around to scrapping although I have lots of reasons with a new batch of photos.

Happy February to you all! I exceeded my January goal, which I'm happy about. I'm going to shoot for 15 this month. I have photos printed and ideas for them. My signature has my updates.
I have done two double-layouts this month, I just haven't had a chance to upload them here.
I didn't get to scrap yesterday. I put together a few titles that I bought and made cards, but no scrapping! I only need a few more pages for the book I am working on.

I recently bought some cardstock and paper at Hobby Lobby & used 2 sheets of each on my last layout. I decided to sort & put my photos with them but I can't find any of them!! I don't have that many supplies here & my place isn't that big! I guess I'll give it a rest & look later!
No worries, Sharon. I didn't even notice...lol. I've typed them wrong before so now I click in the field & what I've used before come up so I click on one then change it.

I spend more time looking for things than crafting some days.
I got some layouts done after work today. I made so many pages for this Disney trip that I need another book! Luckily I have a few Michaels gift cards. I opted for free shipping rather than dragging my husband there after work one day. We carpool to work 3 days a week. I hope to finish the layouts this week and fill two books when the new one arrives. The funny thing is we have our masks on in every picture. We were just so happy to be traveling that we took too many pictures!

A few pages I made over the weekend and earlier this week. I am determined to use what I have in my stash! My husband and I went to WDW shorlty after it re-opened. We took a 30th anniversary trip a few months early!
Hooray, I finished scrapping the trip that I have been working on! I did 14 layouts this month. I’m waiting for the 2nd book to arrive and DH wants to try different screws. He hates the ones that come with the books. The pages are even too much for a 3 ring book. I think we have so many pictures because we were so excited to get away.
my bff might come over to craft tomorrow. We might just work on putting page kits and tittles together.

DH said I had to give up on the book that I had the pages in. They were too thick! He bought new screws and it still didn't work. In the future, I need to put more stuff in the middle and botom of my pages, according to him I am making them too top heavy. I did get them in a 3 ring album so all is good. I needed to make a last page and put something in the front cover. It is a major accomplishment getting this book done!
I am at work til 8 today and then off tomorrow. I did manage to sort a huge order of pictures form our June 2023 trip to Disney World. For now they are sorted by park, I will sort more at a later date. I need a few more empty picture holders. I put them in those cases and then use my label maker to label them. It is great when I can peel the label off an empty case! At some point, I need to order more prints, I am not there yet. Gotta get some more scrapping done before then.
I am going to return the albums I just bought a Michaels. I need to just get 3 ring ones, I just make too many pages for each trip. I will use the few post bound ones I have left for my non-trip books.
My bff did come over yesterday, we worked on puttijng together Whole kit and kaboodle and paper wiz page kits. We are going to try to make our own characters with our cricuts to save a little money. It is the question of time and stress vs. money. I am not sure where we will end up on it. The kits get expensive. I put the pieces together and try to spread them out over more layouts. They sell the kits as two page layouts. I usually only scrap 4x6 pictures and like lots of pictures, some of the pages are not designed for that style.
I am challenging myself to send 40 cards over 40 days, I am not sure if I mentioned that. If anyone is interested in receiving a card from me, message me your address.

Back again…I get so caught up in daily life that o forget all the place/sites I want to visit on my phone! That and at my age the days just go by so fast that it gets late, time to repair supper for multi generational household where everyone works or goes to school but me. Then it’s dark, time to shut the chickens in for the night and be in my craft room til bedtime.
Then I do the same thing the next day and still don’t manage to get everything done I want to do. Three hobbies are too many plus reading!
I don’t think I have any layouts done this month but numerous cards that I mailing off on Tuesday to a boutique/florist in Michigan.
I want to check out the gallery as soon as I’m done posting
I had to chuckle over Pia’s time/stress and frustration vs. money!! I have come to the conclusion that I don’t make all of my embellishments and cards and techniques to save money. If that was the route I wanted to go I would go to the dollar tree and buy cards!! I have bought some of their stickers.
I can’t wait to see the gallery so going to head there now.
Haven't been on here much but I have been scrapping! I have 10 pages done that aren't uploaded yet & 2 more on the table. I was able to use a few kits that are from my stash so that makes me very happy! I'll probably upload them when the other 2 pages are finished. Only 4 events left & 2019 will be done!
I never did find the cardstock/paper so I had to go back & buy more. Poor planning on my part because I have a ton of paper at home that I could have used.
Pia & Sharon, I struggle with embellishments on my layouts. I have a lot at home & hate to buy more. I usually only use my Cricut for titles but should make my own. I did buy a package over the weekend. I gotten away from using them down here unless I'm using a kit.
Here are 13 pages I've been working on. I have all the 2019 miscellaneous photos done now so I can work on the last 4 layouts so that year will be done! I was able to use some of my kits that I've had in my stash too!! That makes me very happy!
