Hi Everyone!
We got snow last night, so I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! I had to walk my puppy on the treadmill this morning (he hates the snow, it touches his belly!)
Perfect timing for a few thoughts about Santa Claus....I posted 2 new pages tonight, both have my baby in them, and one even has my REAL BABY in it, ha, ha, ha. I guess she is not such a baby anymore! Anyway, so far I have made 3 pages for December. 5 more digi pages and 2 traditional pages to go!

Lets make another Christmas page this week but...lets use lots of red and green.
Challenge: use red and green 3 different DP's and cut one of them in a circle shape 3 pictures and have one of them slanted and use a small touch of gold somewhere on the page
Fun challenge, Patti. I might have to wait until after Christmas to do it though. Lots of Christmas gift deadlines I'm still trying to meet that are keeping me busy!! ;)
Hola! Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season. I am home alone today, and with a light snow I'm staying in. I plan on scrapping all day.

2 more pages done! I am planning on saving a few pages onto a disk so I can play on our tv when we have family come over the holidays. I'd say I have a few more to go to make that happen, ha, ha, ha, but some is better than none!
I did it! I made my own smash journal. It's for my daycare provider for Christmas. I didn't do the binding quite right but it works. I have papers pulled to make me a babygirl book! Will try to get some pics up the next day or two.
Hi ladies! I wanted to pop in and see if the scrapbooking goals will be continued in 2012? If so, I think I'll join in.
I have a really bad habit of reading about scrapping and cardmaking much, much more than I do it! If I was lucky, I completed 20 single-page layouts this year--and that includes time I spent at a weekend scrap retreat.
I have a goal in mind for 2012. It's a tiny goal, but I still could use some accountability.
It is closing in on the end of the year, I have one more towards my goal. I might make it (goal) for the month but not for the year! Oh well, next year is coming fast and I get to start again.
It's been such a BUSY December but we're slowing down a bit 'cause I think dd2 has strep...we'll find out this afternoon. Fortunately she finished her exams yesterday...unfortunately sometime during the day she started with a fever. I do Christmas dinner for DHs family so we may have to cancel but we'll make that call on Friday. As luck would have it, we had our annual Mother/Daughter Cookie Exchange this past Sunday with 30 girls/women...just hope they all get through the holidays without getting anything from dd2! I was down and out myself Monday & Tuesday but starting to feel better and I MUST get my wrapping done today. I'm so hoping that all is quiet here soon after Christmas and can get into my scrap room to play...I definitely am craving some major scrap therapy!!!!
I hope you are all having a healthier Christmas that we are and you're enjoying your weather like I am! It's going to hit 80 today, a tad warm for Christmas but still better than a cold Christmas for me :-)

Aw, thanks Lynley. Seems to happen this time of year for her every other year...@ office she was on antibiotics (mainly for strep) '05, '07, '09, & now '11...never realized that until yesterday...wondering if I should just look into getting her tonsils out.
The up side, I'm all done my wrapping and am able to hang out here to look at beautiful scrap pages...I'm off to look more in the gallery! :-)

Got to get the wrapping done
and on and on and on.....makes me tired just typing this.....
So this week lets take time to relax and create a calm/serene page.
The challenge is to use calming colors
at least 2 pictures
ribbon and brads.
Then grab a cuppa your favorite set back,relax and enjoy the season!

I know that happened to me growing up...every year off to the doc and always strep throat. I finally had my tonsels out, and I can count on my fingers how many sore throats I've had since then, and that was way back in 1991! I bet it would help. Hope she feels better soon

Thanks! The list was overwhelming! LOL! But, I think I settled on "newborns" or "new baby" and will use pics of the grandbabies! Thanks!!!~!

That's great that you're going to join us for 2012! Things are pretty quiet around here right now because everyone is getting ready for the holidays, but no doubt in January things will be hopping around here. Lela, our fearless leader, has some new plans in store for us.
I started out with small goals a few years back, but the inspiration and friendly support here helped me bring my total pages for the year to over 100 pages. I never thought I'd make that many! Hope it works for you too!
I did finish up more pages tonight! Yay, it was so nice to scrap! It's 2 a.m. so I'm in full vacation mode, LOL! I thought I did the Thursday Challenge but I forgot the brads and ribbon. Looks like I'll just have to do another page or 2 tomorrow ;)
DD2 is much better & we were able to go out last night to take a few photos for the Christmas card...better late than never. Now off to edit & print! My girls want to do a gingerbread house & bake cookies so that's what we'll be doing this afternoon. Enjoy your Christmas Eve Eve :-)

Whew YOU GO GIRL! I just keep wondering why I open my BIG mouth and volunteer for these scrapbooking projects when I have SO much of my own scrapbooking to get done! It has been months since I have scrapbooked anything of my own...I am giving 3 albums as gifts this Christmas! CRAZY...ok Rebekah, bring it back in, only 3 pages left ;)

Rebekah, I'm SO impressed that you're making albums for your family! They will LOVE them. I've often thought about doing a small one but it never gets past just thinking about it. I would like to make my Mom an album from the Family Reunion picts from this Summer but ... I haven't started it yet.
Good Luck! You'll be THRILLED when you're finished and they're wrapped! You can do it! 3 pages! Pick some inspiration from the Gallery ;)

SO, I didn't get those pages done last night...heading into the scrapping area right now...thankfully, the books I make for family are very simple without a lot of embellishments or layers on the pages so the pages go pretty quick...
Lela, think twice before you undertake the project OR begin the project but don't tell anyone you are doing it so they won't expect it, if that makes sense...then you aren't killing yourself to make deadlines! LOL!

Excellent advice! I've done that once before and it wasn't a good idea... :o I did at least gather the pictures together last night. Still in thought process.
Which leaves me to finish my own pages tonight. I have lots to upload from the last couple of days

I'm going to wish you all a Merry Christmas now before I head off to bed. I see on NORAD that Santa is headed to Knoxville, TN! So he's heading up the coast towards us! DGS was SO excited today. He and DH went shopping (DH is the last minute kind of guy) while I wrapped presents.
I've even had a small reprieve...my federal jury duty call was cancelled for Tuesday but I have to wait until 5 p.m. to call to see if I have to report on Wednesday. If I do, I have to drive to Philadelphia Tuesday night so I had to change my hotel reservations today. I was hoping for a VERY white Christmas but it doesn't look like that might happen...my DD has one though. She called yesterday and had 9 1/2" of snow with more falling. Haven't heard how much they ended up with but they definitely have a White Christmas this year!
Merry Christmas everyone! I was able to finish the albums for my grandmothers, YAY! In the new year, I will be working on my OWN albums! LOL!
The first goal is to sort my pictures and such though...I need to make a list for the couple of albums I have going to make sure that I have everything printed and don't miss anything...

Merry Christmas to all my scrapping friends! It has been a fun Wii day here at our house. The girls got 4 new Wii games. One of them is called Active Life Explorer and I highly recommend it if you have a Wii and want a fun but very active game. I got myself a Jillian Micheals Wii game but I think this other one is just as much of a workout.
My goal for this week is to get my craft room in order so I can get back scrapping and crafting in 2012.
