MaryPat and Wendy- thanks! I have a group of about 6 kiddos who will all be in Phoenix's kindergarten class (it's easy to pick the moms you like when you deliver the babies! :rolleyes and will have some family. Easy foods and I will probably get her a ball pit for her birthday. I was thinking red and pink since it's just after VDay and figured I could probably get decorations, etc cheap. I'm just super excited.
I am already amazed at how much I have forgotten! I thought I would *NEVER* forget every detail of my delivery and I have no idea what time I got my epidural and couldn't even remember how long she was the other day! Geesh! That's why I'm going to convert to a smash book for now, hoping to get it made this month. I'll scrap all my beautiful pics later... like when she's eight! LOL.
Wendy, it's pretty cold, 20's this am. It was warmer in Chicago over the weekend then when we got back here. I need to go back to the office and I'm putting it off cuz I don't like the cold. I sssuuurreeee miss Arizona when the winter sets in.
I will be out of town visiting my dad for a few days I will post the Thursday Challenge when I get back probably Saturday sometime. Thanks for understanding.

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
I really appreciate all your comments about my NEW Shelf. I read them to DH and I could tell he liked them too. He was very proud of surprising me with this idea I can relate Wendy to not being able to find something, I've been looking for awhile! I KNEW you guys would understand how excited I was, it was much more fun to share.
Lynley, I think a SMASH album is the perfect way to go as it will give you opportunity to jot down all the fun things! I'm going thru Senior Year stuff w/ my "baby" and I look at picts and can't believe what I remember and but mostly what I don't ... writing it down is a really good idea.

I am new here, was invited to check out this forum by Wendy who was so kind to comment on one of the pages I posted under Digital Scrapbooking last month
I am not new to traditional scrapbooking, but am fairly new to digital scrapbooking. I know I am a bit late, considering it is December, but I guess I need to start sometime! I am going to be mainly concentrating on working on my digital scrapbooking, however since my regular traditional scrapbooking has severly fallen behind I will set a small goal to get that moving too! I guess I only have December to do so here goes...
Digital Pages for December = 8
Traditional Pages for December = 2
Thats all for now, thanks again to Wendy for introducing me to this, I can't wait to see what happens with my goals for this month and then NEXT YEAR!

Welcome! We love seeing new inspiration and I digi scrap too so it'll be fun to have another one joining the crew. And it's never too late to start!
Thank you so much, digital has definately crept up on me! I wasn't expecting to like it so much vs my traditional scrapbooking. (I am a bit of a traditionalist at heart). I am very excited to play along!

Dec 9th and I am finally checking in...whoa....
Well, I came very close to meeting my November goal, which puts me very close to meeting my year goal. Only 17 left to do.....and um...NO time/energy to put to it! Rats! LOL! I will get 6 done becuase that's what I lack in the calendars I should have sent to the printer two days ago.....However! I keep telling myself that as soon as I am done with this and this and this...THEN I will get to scrapbook! ....that day will come, I am SURE of it! haha! So jot me down for 17 and we'll see how I do....!
Later today (I HOPE!) I'll post the pages I have done that are not yet shared. Some of them are on my blog...

I'm so glad to see you here, Ann! We have a few other gals besides Terry (eeddmm) who digi-scrap part-time and tradition scrap too. We all appreciate them both for their different qualities, so everyone will enjoy seeing your pages.
Have you seen this thread that contains lots of digi sites to check out, including many freebies you can pick up?
Some of my fav sites for freebies are Blogtrain Blog, Divine Digital and Ginger Scraps. Peppermint Creative has some freebies too. I think I spend as much time cruising for freebies as I do digi-scrapping!

Thanks so much Wendy! I have just recently started to find some freebies, didn't know about these. If you are interested I just started putting some freebies on my blog as well. They are coming from My Memories as I just recently became an affiliate with them for their software. The freebies will go up every Friday and are available for a week through my blog. They also have a lot of freebies on their main site too.

Here are my pages. I am sooo close to done, but I need to actually snap a couple more pictures before I complete the December page for my inlaws...digital scrapping is super handy that way!
First, the calendar I am making for my parents and my grandmother. I'm printing two calendars, and it features my parents entire family. Jan 2Feb 2 march 2May 2 June 2 July 2 Aug 2 Sept 2Oct 2Nov 2 Dec 2 (re post becuase I added two photos)
Then this is what's left of the calendar is for my inlaws and is completely focused on my own little family. Front Cover August October November

2024 Scrapping Goals: May: 13/20; April:11; 2024: 59/125
Hi, everyone. I've been MIA for several weeks, but my life is so crazy right now that I don't have time to scrap. Gasp! Did I really just say that? Well, it's true, and I don't see it getting much better this month, so Lela, please put me down for 5 layouts, and I'll be doing a happy dance if I get that many done. My yearly goal of 200 layouts is so far out of reach that I have given myself permission not to worry about it any more. Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

I posted one more for this month and would be a happy camper getting as many done as I have, even though I will not be meeting my goal for the year. I still have a few weeks to decide what I want to commit to for next year.

Great Thursday Challenge Patti! I am working on last years Christmas Pages so I have them done before this year. I like to have them done so I don't "mix the memories" when I'm journaling, hahaha! Age, ugh.
I usually do all the Christmas Pages with the same papers and last year the ones I selected are traditional ... I'll have to save for this years pages I picked out brighter colors with blues ...

Tanya- great idea, I might have to try to eek out a calendar for my in-laws!
I actually digi-scrapped a card using SU's MDS but when I tried to upload the file to vistaprint (since I had purchased a Groupon deal) it couldn't be accepted so I guess I made it for nothing. Grrrr....
For the new year I'm *really* going to try to get rid of vegging time and use it to exercise and scrap. We'll see.
Between Nov 6th and Dec 3rd, I went into the hospital every single day... going to talk to my partner about this too and try to get a half-day out of the office each week to use as catch up time. Say some prayers that he sees it my way or I'm really going to have to consider finding a new practice which could mean I'd have to move. That's the LAST thing I want since my parents and brother live here.... Besides my mom and husband no one else knows I'm even considering another practice... don'cha love internet friends? :-P

Lets make another Christmas page this week but...lets use lots of red and green.
Challenge: use red and green
3 different DP's and cut one of them in a circle shape
3 pictures and have one of them slanted
and use a small touch of gold somewhere on the page
