I too, love this thread and really appreciate you, Lela. It would be SO easy to let my scrapping get pushed to the wayside with my busy schedule, but you ladies' inspiration and encouragement keep me scrapping- even when I'm crazy-busy catching babies I find this little time for myself. Thank you!
Ok, I owe a friend a book for her first baby, who just had twins last Monday- so two books for her.
I need to make a book for my other friend who's baby got to leave the hospital last week (Praise God!) born at 32 weeks.

I agree with so many others- I've gotten more scrapping done this year than I have since I had kids! LOL! (ohhh the irony!)
So for November I got 21 of my goal of 20! YEAY!!! This month I'll shoot for 10.
I really wanted to do the December Daily, but instead of ordering a small book, and extra supplies, I ordered the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio program!!!!!!! {shriek of glee, LOL!!} The downside is I won't get to play with it til the 25th- that's going under the tree. BUT I will take pictures every single day and I am full of ideas and super excited to make the book AFTER that....
Now I'm off to put up the tree!
LOL! It's good to get lots of scrappin' done and with kids you have so many scrap subjects :-D

Well I am going to set my goal at 6 again. This will be a busy month. Vacation for 12 days, retirement at work and the holidays. I never set a yearly goal but now that I see how close to 400 I am I sure would like to do another 21 pages in Dec. lol

I know I am starting to get nervous........but believe me on the 20th of Dec I am so out of nursing!!! I have had a wonderful 38 year career. I started as a nurse aide in high school and have worked my way up to being the administrator of a 40 bed assisted living so my career has been a very good one. I love nursing but am ready to just lead a quiet laid back life with DH!

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Wow! December. I have really slacked off of my scrapping the last couple of months. I have several unfinished projects (minis, albums,altered items) some I will have to push and finish because they are to be given as gifts. I am also still working on my 25 days of December album( a must do), last year I totally flaked, this year I am doing it for sure.
So here's my story and I'm sticking to it. I have done more pages by participating in this thread than I'd thought possible for me. I am very happy with the progress this year with my scrapbooking, not to mention all the new techniques, ideas, and love spread around the thread. I am grateful.
With this being the last month of the year I feel I need to push myself to complete my projects and reach a goal I didn't even fore see when I started back in January.
My ending total of pages from November 450 pages completed. So my goal for December Is going to be 50 pages. Some will be as part of gift albums, and some will be my December album. I hope to end the year with a min. of 500 pages completed. I can TAMcan.
Can she do it??? Yes she can!!! TAMcan!!!

So my goal this month is 3. We'll see what happens. I have my ultrasound appointment today to find out the sex of my baby!! The bad news is that I might be put on bed rest today for pre-term labor. I have a Dr. appt. in the afternoon to discuss the results from the tests I took yesterday and the ultrasound today. Anyone in California who wants to come help me take care of my 3 year old while I'm on bed rest for the next 4 monthes?

I was on bedrest with a three year old but only for two months...lots of books, videos, small crafts. I hope you can get help somehow! I was fortunate that my dd was in preschool and picked up by bus (she was in a special needs program) so I only needed to get her to/from the front door then a nap (for both of us)...then bedtime-playtime! To this day (she's now 14) she is my 'Pajama Day' girl...just loves being in pj's coloring on the bed, listening to music, writing, and reading. I'll have to say, bedrest isn't fun and I was more of a 'don't leave the house' rest kinda gal...I had to go on bedrest with both pregnancies. Wish I lived close enough to help but that'd be one heck of a plane trip for me! :mrgreen: Take it easy and I hope all goes well w/ your ultrasound.

Ohhh that is no fun at all! I was on bedrest for six weeks with an almost-3yr old boy, and no tv coming in. I am pretty sure we watched every single bonus feature on every single DVD we owned! We read all the kids books we owned over and over and he liked to color and would play on his own too. But it was still maddening for everyone. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!! I hope you do have someone who can help sometimes!

We leave here in March and have 10 May a a report date but we are planing on going earlier since the kids will still have to finish out the school year. We are planning a June trip to WDW. I'll keep you posted!

We are going to keep Mary Pat busy next year. I have a WDW vaca planned over the week of July 4th!

So I am refocusing and committing to getting some pages done - please put me down for 5 for Dec so hopefully I will be geared up and ready to start 2010 off right!! OK, I'm back to update. I think I'm going to try for 15 pages this month. It's going to be such a busy month, I'm not sure I'll even meet that, but I'm going to try!
