Here's a re-run from my blog today. Not much time to stamp this week as I was preparing for the release and trying to get things caught up since Katrina will be gone for the next 3 weeks and I have to be a one-woman army for Verve.

Julee- I am LOVING all the burlap! I did find a roll of burlap this last week and have yet to use it. Hoping tomorrow night or Sunday during football time!

Loved this card on your blog today and loving it all over again, Julee. The tree is adorable in its paper pieced glory and the burlap (?) is sooo fun!
Think you'll have to get the nanny involved in shipping orders if Katrina is away early next week LOL!

That stuff is so cool! It's actually a vintage type paper, kind of like woven raffia. Amazing texture, but super easy to cut, just like paper.
Heidi, I checked out my local fabric store and they have literally "reams" of burlap in different colours too! Not that expensive if you just buy a little bit
Just eating some eclectic retro Halloween candy. I mean I'm sure they are still current, but they are something from my past. Nerds - wow! are those solid sugar? Whoppers. Sweet Tarts. Milk Duds.
In a new subdivision this year, so you never know how much candy to buy. So, you end up short handed or, usually in our case, wind up with too much left over. Dangerous!

Today was her last day until after Thanksgiving, so I'll be shipping all the orders for this release. We've enlisted grandparents and the nanny to watch the boys a few days each week so I don't have to pack with one on my hip and the other in a jumper!

Better safe than sorry. You'll know for next year. In the mean time, enjoy the flash backs to your childhood
