ladies, the gallery is looking fabulous! Love all the different wood and silver elements! Sounds like we all have our anniversary cards made for the upcoming year! ;)
I had fun with this challenge! I received my floral ovals only yesterday, and this is the first project I've made with one of them. AND I was fortunate enough to find in my stash some mme silver woodgrain cs. Here 'tis:

I put off this challenge...knew I was going to struggle with it. And I can't photograph the silver for squat, so know that it does look a tiny bit better in real life. The sentiment and frame are embossed in silver, I used silver sparkly ribbon, and hung a tiny silver charm with "love" engraved on it.
Yay for me! I found time to redo my card. Didn't fix the old one, started right back at the beginning. I raided my mom's button drawers and found this delight. Then, while I was tidying some paper I found this "wood" paper too (thought I had used it all up). Quite happy with this card as well, I think it's going to my brother and his wife for their first anniversary!
I decided to go back and change my card a little (added a patterned paper layer and reduced the size of the top panel). If you had a chance to peek at my first card, please let me know what you think of the addition. The first photo is still in my gallery, but I removed the tagging on it for the challenge so the card wouldn't accidentally get entered twice. I just wasn't liking the first pass enough. But I think this small change looks much better. Thanks!!
I don't have an anniversary stamp from Verve and I really like the sentiment that comes with the set I used, "Enjoy the Day". I figure everyone that celebrates their anniversary should ENJOY their day, right?

Now did you know that I needed a card for my Brother and SIL's anniverary this week, Diva (Moe)? Well thanks for the inspiration - they ended up with the most sparkly anniversary card ever! LOL!

Jennipher...you are not even fashionably late! There's lots of time left...so happy you've been able to play What's tempting you with the sneak peeks?
Well Moe, I haven't made it through today's hop yet but I HAVE to have Wonderfully Made. I love, love anything faith based. Julee's Plain Jane Scripture's is what got me hooked. In fact, I have a post that will go live at midnight EST that I do every week using a Scripture stamp and my creation for tomorrow uses one of the Plain Janes and a loose interpretation of this week's Mojo Monday sketch and lots of liquid pearls. I'll link it to the customer card carnival when I get a chance. I'd love to have your opinion on it. ;)

I am heading over to look at it right now! Sometimes I just like flipping through the PJs and reading them...very calming
Here is an anniversary card made for my bestie and her husband...love this wood grain paper from a retired Stampin Up set...used Text Objects for the Verve.
Here is my card for Day 2 of the challenge. Could anyone help me as to how I link my card from my gallery? Thanks, Gma Bert
to get your card into the Anniversary challenge...type VSAVS12B into the keyword area when uploading. Each challenge will have their own keyword, a variation of this one I gave you. The keywords can be found on the first post of each thread. Hope that helps...let me know if you need more info
I've just been in the gallery again, ladies...truly, so many fabulous ideas! I hope you all enjoyed this "5th" anniversary challenge. Do any of you follow the traditional or modern anniversary gifts? I have been and the dh did this year (much to my excitement!)
I joked with him when we got married that since we married late (in our 40s) we needed to start with the 60th anniversary gifts and work our way down! ;) teehee...our jeweler agreed, but the dh not so much! lol
anytime is time to celebrate our patient and loving dhs I say go for it!
I had actually thought to use it to send to my aunt for her anniversary ;)
Now to decide what to do. Why did you make such a fabulous challenge that I have trouble giving the card away to a "worthy" recipient, Moe?! HAHAHA

Here is my card for the Anniversary challenge. It will be quite awhile before our next anniversary but I'll be giving it to him on our next "date night" ....those days are few and far between when you have a busy 8 year old! But I know he will love it, he is such a sweet sentimental guy! I am very blessed. Enough rambling, here's my card:
