:o I made a typo in my the directions and they should read score at 10, 6, and 4, then turn over and score at 5...Not 11!
Sorry for any confusion and sleepless nights that I might have caused! ;)
WOW - -great new directions -- THANK YOU! Ladies, once you make one or two you'll be making them in your sleep and you'll be so addicted to making too!! LOL I've made EIGHT so far and have another 6 cut and ready to go. I love stamping things in assembly style too and my mind wandered (which doesn't isn't hard for me....lol) And I thought of Valentine Bags, Birthday Treat Bags - -BABY SHOWER TREAT BAGS, mainly because a very good friend of mine is having a baby in the spring- - -can't you just see those shower mints inside and maybe have pink, blue and green on the table to match (unless she knows the sex of the baby....new moms these days normally due - - OMG OMG -- "all pink")
I'm babbling - - thanks again KIsamari for updating your directions!!
Can't wait to try these out. Thanks for the template.

Try right-clicking on the link...click on "save target as" (will save to your hard drive)...then open from there. I wasn't able to see the file until I did that.

Sometimes that happens to me too :(
BUT what you can do is right click on the link. From there select "save target as" and put it on your hard drive. Then open up adobe and open that file. Don't know why it works that way but it does!
IT WORKED!! you are amazing and wonderful! I wish everyone would do tutorials in this format!! thanks so much-
I am moving to Missouri in 2 weeks so this will be a project for SAB!
I am SO excited to have this info- thanks again for this tip for saving files- I will keep it in mind when it happens again!!! thanks Gwen
I have adobe, but I can not open this file! I am so frustrated! Can someone please email at [email protected] the directions. I am trying to make something like this for my bible study group.
Great idea and tutorial. I have one question, though. It says to score at 11, 6 and 4 inches, but if the CS is only 11 inches long, how could you score it at 11? Should it be 10?
I am so impressed. It was easier than I thought it would be! Thanks so much for sharing!!!! I will demo it my next party! I love the terrific tags set and this just adds one more reason why I love it so. =) Thanks again!
Kandi's Cards - Glad you liked it! I bet it turned out great! If you have a gallery, be sure to post it and let me know! I would love to see some more!
I agree - it easy. It always seems so much harder when you read how to do it - and so much easier to just do it...
Good luck on the demo! I did some really cute Valentine ones that should be great for this time of the year!
Thank you for posting this. This has been a HUGE hit for me. These are great as hostess gifts or as make and takes. Everytime I've demo'd this I've had people purchase all of the supplies for it.
I'm glad you have had success with it! They are fun and easy! I can't wait for your image to be approved! I love it when people post their pictures - I usually think - Oh, why didn't I think of that!
I've been having fun making these all week. I was thinking how hard it would be for little ones to open the bag with the brad closure, so I put a small piece of velcro on it and instead of cello bags, I use small ziplock bags. With the ziplock bags, you can make a bunch of treat bags and fill them at later date. This has to be my favorite project so far. Maybe because it is sooo easy and fast.

I know what you mean about the brad - I think kids would have a hard time. I did see that "Colycyr" did really cute ones for kids without the brad. I asked her how she held it all together and she said this "I stapled the cello bag closed then used glue dots to hold the bag to the CS. Sealed the flap on the front with doubled sided tape" ...
HELP! I'm trying to do these and have a major snag. I don't get the punching part....if I follow your dimensions I have to punch through the bottom? I'm not folding it at the right place or something. Everyone else is getting this, how come I'm not? Are you punching through two pieces of cs....I'm sorry, I'm feeling just stupid. These are so cute and I want to share them with my group tonight. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated! :(
It took me a little while to figure that out also. Hold it with the 1" score at the top. Then fold up from the very bottom score line. Then punch about 1/4" from the bottom. The punch will go through the middle (5") score line.
You will end up with (2) pieces from the punch. One of them throw out. The other keep to stamp on (or if you are making a lot of these, I stamp on the scrap from cutting up the page, then punch them out. You can get at least 5 out of each strip.
Love Love Love this!!
I just purchased the Demo kit last week, and I am soooo excited! I can't wait to show this off at one of my workshops!!! I love this little community of stampers-- by far the best site on the net!!! we rule!!

I cannot open the adobe file. When I save it to my hard drive, it is just a bunch of jibberish. Can someone e-mail me the directions? [email protected]
Thanks

I have a quick question for anyone who had made these. Did you find it very difficult to punch through 2 layers of cardstock? I already messed up a couple trying and not succeeding.
What could I be doing wrong? I've tried holding it down and pressing down with the palm of my hand and then with the punch upside down. I just feel like I'm going to break off the handle of the punch.

I think the problem was getting the punch in the proper place and needing to have the bottom folds "folded", so then you actually had several layers of cs in the punch. I altered the size a little---made them 2 7/8" wide so I could get 3 out of 1 sheet of paper, and THEN altered the bottom folds. Instead of the 6 and 4 (which were 1" from the 5), I did 51/2 and 41/2 (which made them 1/2" from the 5). I made 18 Easter Treat Bag Holders, and they are darling! AND the punch worked good!!!!
I can't seem to open the directions on my mac either..........would appreciate if someone could e-mail me the directions.......'cause it seems from all the chat that I am missing out on something GOOD! Thanks [email protected]
