Default Note-folio Tutorial

For Teacher Appreciation Week last week, I made the teachers these cute little Note-folios stuffed with six 3x3 monogram cards and six envelopes. These might actually have another name, but I don't know what it is so I made one up! I chose this project because I figure that teachers can always use little cards to send home notes to parents, etc.

I used the Defining alphabet to make the monograms (I cut apart my upper case and lower case letters and mounted them separately on the wood blocks). I had a sample of a larger note-folio that holds our notecards, but it was too big for the smaller 3x3 cards, so I modified the dimensions to better accomodate them. I made a tutorial - some of the score lines were hard to make out on the cardstock, so I drew them in using PhotoShop Elements.

My tutorial (with photos) is attached. You can also see it on my blog:

Enjoy!
