Is your photo of a project or is it the photo you use as your avatar or something else? I am asking because I think photos of projects must go through a moderator before they "show". It's been a while since I've uploaded though...
Oh, I'm sorry I was so unspecific! It was my avatar photo I was refering to. I haven't even started to think about uploading photos of projects yet!
Thanks for your reply!
Ohhhh - make sure you are selecting 'avatar' to upload the photo we see of you in the forums - the profile picture (which is lovely and your tiny baby is adorable!) goes to your public profile page. If you click at the top where it says "welcome, elbeth" you'll see the 'Edit Avatar' selection under Settings & Options on the left.
Still not sure if I am posting this question in the right spot. Ok got my avatar picture up. I do not know how to remove where its says card stock collector Not sure how that got there but I must have put it there.
The only way you can edit the info that is currently showing as "card stock collector" is to become a fan of splitcoast (buy paying the membership fee). Then you can put whatever you'd like there.... if you choose to not pay the membership fee then that "title" will change (as someone else mentioned) based on the number of posts you make on SCS. Hope this helps.

Hi all! I'm here! I joined SCS a long time ago, but haven't been a regular for a while because I got sucked over to Facebook. There aren't enough hours in the day for stamping, FB and SCS!! I'll be popping in every once in a while to check what's new.
Congrats Iliana for being a platinum partner and welcome to all the newbies!!

I don't think even fan club members can change their title to whatever they want until they've posted over 20,000 times. At least that's what I've been told. Although if you are a fan club member you will have the choice to change it to "proud fan club member."
Welcome welcome welcome to the MISTI and all the MISTI fans!! You will find the gang happy to help and answer any questions. Thanks for joining us!! Yay!!

Kathy, you are 100% correct. I am only allowed to choose between "Proud Fan Club Member" and the forum generated name based on number of posts, unless I'm missing something. It really doesn't matter to me, as long as I'm able to post I'm a happy camper.😎

Thanks for the clarification ladies. Hopefully this clears it up for the poster who was curious.

For past few months - I kept thinking I am missing out on Facebook side of misti group - so now I am thrilled we have all the misti info in one place. I love my misti too. Starting to learn more tips from new videos . Welcome My sweet petunia! So excited you are here ! And I am glad more users - more threads - more discussion - more to learn and read !
This is very different from FB..... how do I post pictures?
Hi there -
In the forums (here) - Just click reply. Then you'll see a little yellow icon above the reply box - that's the photo icon. Click that and you can upload a photo that will be embedded in your reply.
To upload to our gallery just click "gallery" at the top right of any screen, and then click "Upload a card" - either from the big orange button on the left side of the screen, or on the text link that says "Upload a card" near the center top of your screen.
To post pictures, click 'Go Advanced' below the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the page... the advanced screen has some formatting options above the text box. One looks like a little yellow postcard with green mountains on it. Click that icon to add a picture from your computer or link one stored online.

This is one of those stories where my male genes raced up to the top and all reasoning went out the window! I watched the wonderful video and decided that Contac paper would work just fine - not - kept coming off. Then I decided to see if the Sizzix sticky paper would work - not - not clear and it took me five minutes to clean the sticky off of my craft sheet. Then I decided - laminating! Was at Staples and almost done having two sets of the shapes laminated when I realized if I cut to the edge of the pattern the laminating would fall off! So . . . . wood working, engineer-brained husband to the rescue. He cut them all (8 pieces) of them methodically just outside the bubble along the edge of each piece. Now mine are bigger than they should be, but they do work wonderfully. Moral of the story - READ THE DIRECTIONS - OR - LISTEN TO THE DIRECTIONS! That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

What a bunch of enablers here!!!!! Thanks to you, I have the templates ordered - your videos were great, Maureen; and due to another thread, I'm now set for using my bare rubber with cling vinyl and Tack n Peel!!!! I'm in serious trouble, and afraid to read any more for fear of what else I'll find that I can't live without!!!!!!! I bought my MISTI long ago - and I've been just using good old graph paper all this time!!

Hahahaha! I admire your tenacity! I didn't have any trouble getting Contact paper to stick, but maybe my card stock has more tooth than yours, or something. And I actually think you could have gotten away with the laminating--I've done that before and I think the laminating process seals into the paper somewhat.
Hello everyone! I am so excited to find this group and all the awesome videos and tips to feed my obsession to find out more about the MISTI
I don't have one yet but I have loved everything I have seen about it! Thank you to all of you who have one and are sharing ideas! 😀
