Sharing one of the cards we did at the Creativation Show in Phoenix, AZ using the Misti and using the new Creative Corners. In the Misti I inked thestamp with the lighter pink and stamped, then inked up with the darker pink and stamped, spritzed with water and stamped. I used the new Creative Corners to do the shadow sentiment, having the panel in the lower left corner against the edge and stamping with the shadow, then moving the panel across to the Creative Corner side, and stamping with the black ink.
Kia, the card is gorgeous! But I'm confused. The black word appears only to be very slightly up and over from the pink shadow, and from the corner video I watched, the corners look like they would move you further. What am I missing?
BTW, the title of this thread looked like, "Pictures of your Misti." The word "Projects" was cut off until opening the thread. And I wondered about everyone posting a photo just of their Misti... lol!

It would depend on how you set up your creative corners. If you set them to be away from the edge of the paper on the top and side, it will change the look of the shadow.
In this post on my blog I have closeup pictures of how I set up my creative corners to shadow the sentiment. I butt it to the edge of the paper at the top and move ever so slightly from the right edge.
I hope this information helps, and should you have any other questions please let us know.
Giggles ... that would be pretty funny if this thread was full of pictures of everyone's MISTI ... I will mention this to Lydia to see if we can fix this.
I just look at the thread and on Chrome it shows the full sentence "Pictures of your MISTI Projects ... so I would guess it depends on the device, the setup etc. as to what appears.

Absolutely - including size. I'm on an iPad using Safari. I think everyone knows subject titles are often cut off - and it's 100% fine. Just my weird mind jumped to funny photos of everyone holding their Misti's.

hugs,
Oh, your explanation and pics on your blog totally make sense, thank you! As usual I was "trying" to complicate things. I just ordered the corners yesterday from Ellen Hutson and they've already shipped so can't wait to try shadow stamping. BTW, gorgeous card in your example.

Kia, Gorgeous card! I've tried to do shadows a few times on my sentiments but was not happy with results. I ordered the Creative Corners from Ellen Hutson yesterday and they will be here tomorrow. Can't wait to try this technique with the CC.

I just ordered the MISTI and the title caught my attention. I wanted to see Pictures of your Misti....can't wait for mine to be delivered so I can post my pictures.

A couple of photos from my Team Tuesday post. I never would buy layering stamps before the Misti, it just didn't happen because I could never get them to layer right even if they were clear. Misti changed all that for me and now I can buy these gorgeous layering sets from Altenew and other stamp companies
This card was done with the help of Misti. I use my Misti to hold my stencils while I brush on the ink. I used it to stamp the watermelon, ant track (no ant used) and sentiment as well as to line up the watermelon to die cut. I should really call this card "Misti's Watermeloln"!!

That's a beautiful card; love the way you used the background grid. "They" should make watermelon seed shaped sequins. ;)
I always have fun using my MISTI to create Ombre Effects by changing-up my inking until I get the blend I want. This one is for the current Essentials by Ellen Mix-It-Up Challenge with Lawn Fawn.
A card to celebrate joining the MISTI Design Team ... it's sad to think about how many attempts it took for me to get a card stamped right before my MISTI (so many cards into the trash) ... now I can bravely stamp my sentiment as the final element of this card without worrying about mucking it up ... Yay!
