My newest one, the mini, has an etched grid on the top. I have two regular sized that have dark pink printed grids. I have a friend who has a black printed grid on her door. In looking at them I don't see any other differences but there may be differences in the materials used.

The new ones have a laser etched lid and aren't subject to the crazing that the original ones (different manufacturing process) were. Jill - if yours is crazing, email her pictures for a replacement - [email protected]

UPDATE:
I wanted to UPDATE everyone on what happened with my MISTI when I found slight cracks starting at the outside edges of the 'lid'. I emailed Iliana through her 'contact' button on the website mysweetpetunia. She replied almost immediately, explained that what I was seeing on my MISTI was called 'crazing' and informed me that she had changed the manufacturing process to prevent this now. Iliana then sent me a pre-paid return shipping label by email and instructed me to send it back for repairs. Well I tell you, BEST customer service on the planet! Within a couple of days, my MISTI was repaired and on its way back to me!! If anyone has this trouble don't hesitate to connect with Iliana, she backs her product up all the way, unlike those who say after 30 days 'tuff luck'.

That's awesome! I too emailed her. Mine is cracking and isn't square. She told me there is nothing that can be done.

It makes me sad..............
