Challenge Title: Lovely February Hostess: MISTI Monday Keyword: MSP54 Date: February 7th, 2022
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great January and are already into a nice February. I'm not sure about your areas, but mine has been full of ice and frigid temps. Looking forward to Spring, Easter and Summer.
This month, since we are in the month of love, we're going to be making cards with a love theme! I made a valentine for February's challenge, and I used new stamps and dies I got from The Greetery. I know the traditional color for Valentine's Day is red, but I just loved the soft pastel theme in this card. It also made me hungry as I made it.
I used my MISTI to line up the doughnut stamps, as they were 3 separate layers to create one image. Without my MISTI, this 3-layer confection would not have been nearly as easy to complete.
I used Altenew inks and a cover plate from Lawn Fawn for the background.
I can't wait to see your "love"ly cards for this month's challenge. This is outside the box for me as I typically don't make valentines.
Good Luck and thanks so much for participating!

Bluebird of Happiness Singing in the Rain This fits the "blank" challenge for the mini VSN where we were to keep 75% of the card blank. It also fits the MISTI challenge with all the hearts on the umbrella.
I'm always reminded how much I love my Misti when I stamp an image with bigger areas of color (like the dog's ears). I can never seem to get a good impression until I've stamped it more than once.
Okay, I have a confession.....when the MISTI first came out, I resisted since I was good at using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for positioning. But I get the hype now......I am hooked on my MISTI!!!! My most favorite use for the MISTI is being able to stamp multiple times with difficult stamps so that there is full coverage! I LOVE it!!!! I am extra happy now that I have discovered this challenge....thank you so much!!! Here is my entry for this month:
Hello! Had a death in the family and am out of town following the funeral. Delaying the winner announcement until I’m back this Friday, March 10th. Thank you for understanding. Winner will be announced tomorrow before posting the March MISTI Monday.

Hi everyone! So I'm posting the March Challenge this evening. I haven't had time to make any cards recently. Two deaths, trip out of town, and other commitments, have left me with no mojo. Does anyone have a challenge idea they'd like to throw at me?
Thanks!

Its Monday so the SCS challenge today is 'Clean and Simple"...could you whip out one of those?

MISTI Monday, I am so sorry for your losses. I think all of your followers will totally understand if you choose not to make a card to inspire us with whatever the March theme is. We can read the description and create from there.
What about a Sympathy card theme? While your identity is a secret and we couldn't mail the cards to you, we could post them with you in mind, sending our sympathies to you.
I like Jeanette’s idea. Another idea is to decorate the envelope or inside of the card while you have everything out for the front. I agree with Jeanette in that we can read and figure out with the description. Don’t spend your time and little energy on a card sample. Hugs!
I like the idea of doing a sympathy or thinking-of-you card with you in mind. Or, just make whatever card anyone cares to make with no particular theme in mind? Please don't feel you have to make a card. Rest and take care of yourself. You've had a lot to deal with..
Congratulations to TeriJ! Her card, Tender Pink, was the randomly chosen winner of this month's challenge. Congratulations, TeriJ! I'll be sending you a private message.
Thanks, everyone, for participating in the challenge this past month and for all your kind thoughts and well wishes. Every word truly means a lot to me. It's been a rough 4 months. Hopefully I can get back to some sort of organized life...free from stress and grief. Grief is exhausting. I thank you all for your participation and understanding.
Love to all,
MISTI Monday
