My Mixed Media Canvas

Ok here is my first tries at mixed media canvas. I'm making this for my best friend. He loves Cowboy Bebop. The image is Spike Spiegel. I still need to do all the painting.

Most of the embellishments I made out of paper. I bought a few nuts and bolts from the hardware store and then what every clearance items I could find at hobby lobby. I gessoed the whole thing. I glue it done with hot glue, e6000, and other glues.

That did it! Now I know why I too like Cowboy Bebop --it's the gorgeous hair. What a great job you did. In re Cowboy Bebop: you haven't lived until you've heard Kinky Friedman: Robot Check.

I love the contrast of the character (and his hair!) against the white background. Nice job!
