Happy Mix-Ability day! Today I want to play with my grandma's button jar. Did you have one from a relative? They are quite fascinating. I thought it might be fun to set out some tea and a snack, paw through those buttons, and come up with a fun new way to add buttons to your project. You can build a collage, use some neat friendship-bracelet weaving to tie it down with, or make an animal using the button as a major body part. Or maybe you have something unique you'd love to share!

Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!

Also will try and send this to my lab tech Jo, she just had double knee surgery a few weeks ago (OUCH!) - and I need her back as soon as she is able to finish therapy! She is the only one I allow to draw my blood. She is the sweetest girl too!!!
