Ready for a new Mix-Ability challenge?!! We hope you're having fun with these! Our goal is to make mixed media easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it! Have you seen our Mixed Media forum? I have found so much inspiration there!
This week I'd like for you to look around the tutorials section, Pinterest, your favorite blogs, and find your favorite way to use re-inker (besides re-inking an ink pad!). There are tons of ways, but I'll give you a few to whet your appetite. When you upload your work, let us know why this is your favorite re-inker use!
Go to the tutorial section and enter reinkers in the search. There are several options to spark your creativity!
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX141) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go play

Fab challenge, Ky; I love my re-inkers, though I've had to learn the very hard way to screw the tios back on as soon as I have finished...let's just say there have been more than one spilled bottle .
Just to let you know, your link to the search doesn't work. I've asked Lydia about this before, and when we do a search in the Tutorials, it only produces a temporary result which expires after a short while. The only workable option is to provide a link to each tutorial, or just give a link to the Tutorials section.
I am working on this. Sabrina inspired me to do the shaving cream technique! I made about twelve differ t backgrounds. LOL. Now to choose one and make a card out of it. No, I don't plan cards, they just happen! LOL

That's how I roll too! I get so busy playing that I forget where I was headed!

There are so many fun ways to use reinkers - today I placed some Archival re-inkers on my craft mat and mixed them with Rubbing Alcohol and dragged my specialty card stock panel through it - a technique I learned from Wendy Vecchi at a wonderful class I took with her.
