My card is going to one of the first real friends I made here on SCS. It is going to Cindy, aka Mothermark, the one responsible for the Tuesday Teaparties. Her husband suddenly passed away last week. The hymn "It is well with my soul" speaks to me in times of sadness. I hope it will encourage her as well. You never know when you will lose those you love, so tell them today that you love them.
Here's mine, I had fun making it.
I've been enjoying seen the bright colours coming through here, even though we don't have dramatic leaf colour like New England.
Here is my card with pumpkins and leaves. Thanks for the challenge. I meant to do something else but was half done when I remembered how I wanted to start for the base. Oh well.

I'm not sure if I knew whst I was doing......I don't think I've really done this mixed media thing but this month's Paper Pumpkin has been inspiring. Hopefully this qualifies!
Took me a while to finish, but I was so happy for this challenge! I have had this idea in my mind for a while and it forced me to figure it out. Love seeing all the beautiful fall leaves on this thread!
