Was just there yesterday, and thought the same thing. I brought mine home and they are in the dishwasher now. Just the perfect size for so many things.
I am so glad I am not the only one that kept them. My husband thought I was a weirdo. My initial thought was to use them for sending side dishes in his lunch, but I may steal them back and use them for better things in my craft room.
I brought home 4 from a Sunday dinner. I thought first I would use them in my craft area, but then I thought I really need them in the kitchen. With just the 2 of us, I really need them for dabs of "this & that" in the kitchen. Guess I might have to go back to KFC and "get" some more! LOL!
I've been using these for some time now...love them. Store all the little bits and pieces I'm working with and just open them as I need whatever I have stored.
Too funny!! We got KFC last back in March, and DH thought I was weird for saving them too. The first thing I thought of was my craft supplies. I put brads, etc. in mine

does anyone have a picture of what they look like? thanks so much!!! Trying to wrap my head around it because I haven't seen them at my KFC in Canada.
Here is a link to the KFC site which shows a photo. KFC Packaging
My DT puts stuff in it take stuff for lunch and takes to work. I use them in the kitchen which we have just a little bit of something left over. They are very convenient. I guess I was not "thinking outside the box" because I had not thought to use them in my craft room.
I am splitting two containers of embossing powder with a friend and I have been racking my brain trying to think what package to put them in. These would work. Guess I can make the sacrifice to get some mashed potatoes and gravy :O Thanks for the info!
We just had KFC and we got all sides in styraform containers just like we have for years. Guess our KFC has not gotten the new containers yet. Hope they do soon.
THANK GOODNESS I am not the only one who does this!! LOL Had to get mine washed and put in my crafty room before DH got home....otherwise he throws them out.
I've been saving them for some time now. Use them in the kitchen and craft room. I also bring home the small containers that some resturants bring sour cream, etc in. Most of them have lids.

I haven't been to KFC in forever. Last night my DH suggested that I stop there and pick up dinner after my daughter's late dance class, but I decided to come home and fix something more healthy. Maybe I should have stopped and bought the greasy food instead! But, knowing my local KFCs they probably still have the old containers. All the stores around here are some of the last to get any of the new stuff. Glad to see that KFC is trying to reduce their carbon footprint with their packaging. Now, if they'd only do something about the conditions the chickens are raised in. (But that's a subject more for current events or someplace else.) I do love the look of the reusable containers.
