Smile How Do you show your card samples?

I am looking for ideas on how to show my card samples besides on a display board. Someone I know puts hers in some kind of sleeve & keeps them in a binder. The company where she purchased them no longer carries them. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Default Post-It plus Velcro - bar

I use only the sticky portion of the 3" Super Sticky Post-Its fastened onto back of card. The writing surface side carries 3 1/4" x 3/4" pieces of sticky back velcro- loop side. Then cards can be mounted onto long flat piece of wood trim - it is covered along entire length with the hook side of velcro. This way, cards can be removed for inspection, but post it can be removed later. No damage to the card, the post-it/velcro assemblies can be reused on a fresh sample, and between classes the wood trim bar is low profile, not in the way.

I've been thinking of the same thing. right now I just have them in a box but really need a better way to have them when people come and see them to buy.

I use flat clear poly pags from Uline.com. i buy the 7"x7" and 6"x9" and the accomidate all of my cards plus envelope. They are food safe too so can be used to package treats as well. They come by the 1,000 so you might want to go in on them with friends and split them up. Let me see if I can find a link: Photo Bags, Plastic Sleeves For Cards in Stock - ULINE
I place the cards in square baskets so customers can filp through them and the bags look very professional.

I noticed that all the samples at Archiver's are adhered to a metal display surface by a magnet on the back of the card. Granted, you would not be able to send the sample as a card, but as a sample for people to look at, it's easy to take down and put back. I've used cookie sheets in my classroom as work surfaces for students when working with magnets and they are pretty cheap....

I use the old metal place card holders that you find in the thrift stores. I either tuck both sides into it, or just the back of the card so that you can see the inside. It works great for scrapbook layouts too. They are pretty inexpensive. You can buy them in bulk new at Sam's Club or at any restaurant supply store. I prefer to buy them used and older. Any place card holder will work. I will even find photo stands at the dollar store and use them in my shop. They work great.
