There have been a few options out there from what I've seen
I use vent cover magnets (available in hardware stores) tacked inside my cabinet door that the nesties stick to
ALso I've seen people use knife magnet bars (Ikea and some other places) that holds them on a wall

Hi there, I just saw your post. I get this ventilation magnetic cover at Lowe's or Home Depot and cut it up. It's cheap and works great. I put them in CD holders. Hope it helps..
Those vent covers look great, but if you can't find them - you can get a roll of magnetic tape with a sticky back at Hobby Lobby or Joann's. I use a couple of strips down the middle of a corrugated cardboard square cut from a box.
I store the squares in one of those plastic shoeboxes and then flip through to find the set I need. My crafting supplies are kept in another room from where I usually make cards, so I need to be able to grab the box and bring it to my table.

Wow! Great ideas. I love the vent cover idea...brilliant! We have several home and office supply stores here. I will check into this!
Cheap is my middle name. Thanks so much!

LOL....same here....in fact I just adhered a whole sheet to a thicker chipboard sheet and now I store my MFT dies like that, too. I keep them in an 8x11 document box...LOVE it!

HAHA I love being cheap. I think the covers are three for $4. And if you look in the stores I found them at Lowe's near the air filters and stuff like that.
Have fun organizing!

I am using magnetic back calendars our insurance company gave out. Free and big enough to hold a spellbinders die. Keep em in a photo album the same size with a zipper closure, found it at a yard sale for 75 cents. holds all of them that I have.
I have another idea I just found at my local dollar store. You can purchase 4 x 6 fridge magnets that are designed to hold a picture. This is great because I can slip the packaging showing the spellbinders set - the name of it and how many dies are supposed to be sith it, in the sleeve where the picture is supposed to go. Fits a set of spellbinders perfectly. There are also 5 x 7 size if you prefer a bigger one. There are 2 inside each package for one dollar. I am so happy with my find! No cutting - nothing!
Ok, well I am really, really cheap - last year our phone books came with two advertising magnets (about 4x4 inches square) attached to the front.
The company I worked for got 40 copies of the phone book. Since I was responsible for distributing the phone books, you can imagine where this is going.
One full magnet and one cut in half, stuck with my ATG to some recycled chipboard cut to 5x7, and my nesties fit in the DVD cases that SU stamps come in (I have a different storage method set up for my stamps; don't use the cases for that).
I'm with diecutDiva. My dentist had given 4"x6" calenders away last year. He and DH are buds and DH asked him for any 2010 calendars left over. He sent me a stack of 2008 but who's counting? They are at least 30mil, heavy and will hold one or two sets each. I labeled each with a white gel pen and stored them in an album. Ask you dentist , pharmacist, insurance agent, etc. They look at us funny but so what. I can look foolish if the price is free.
I buy the 9 X 12 sheets at Joann's for $3.29 before coupons.......cutting those in 1" strips goes further than the rolls, and stays flat better. They have adhesive on one side.
I've used the magnetic vent cover sheets by cutting them into strips. Sometimes tho, they aren't strong enough - my dies fall off & rattle around in the CD case.
I think the magnet rolls are stronger. After I cut the magnet strips, I put them between 2 thick phone book with added weight and leave them overnight. Otherwise, I have trouble with the strips pulling away from the CD case as they try to roll up.
oops-I buy the rolls at Home Depot, Michaels, JoAnn or Staples.

I do the same thing. After this Spellbinders release I will have to start on cabinet door #5. Do I have an addiction? Maybe....but I don't want it cured.

I do that to. Ran the Vent covers through my Xyron to get it sticky on one side so they stick to my cabinet doors. I also have some strips but found some are stronger than others. The JoAnns ones stick better and are stronger, the ones from Hobby Lobby tend to curl up and Nesties will fall off if the door slams. I'm running out of room to. I might have to think about where I'm going to put more. I have 2, two foot wide by six and half feet tall full.
Here's a system from Sherry Cheever (BadSherry) using the magnetic vent covers that works fabulously for the regular size dies. Sherry also explains how she stores her 'grands'. I was using CD jewel cases and switched to this. It's so much easier to find the dies I'm looking for and takes a lot less space than the CD cases.
I use the magnetic sheets that come in a roll from Michael's and cut them into sizes about 4"x4" and put them into CD pages in a holder that zips closed. There are several pages inside for the Nesties. They stay in place very well and I can see them very easily by flipping through the holder. I'm on my second one now, but it works great for me. They never fall out.
I also numbered the Nesties so I can find the right one I used later to make the same or a similar card. For example, I have two sets of squares and two sets of scalloped squares that nest inside each other. The plain ones are numbered A1, A2, etc. The scalloped nesties are numbered B1, B2, etc.
I bought large sheets of double-sided magnet (adhesive on one side) at a small craft store. It was the most economical way. And then it is flat already so no problem with it curling like the rolls. And it was very easy to cut into narrow strips that go inside a cupboard door. See here :

I bought magnetic pages at Staples and slip them into page protector sheets with my Spellbinders. Easy to see, and they're all in a notebook for simple storage.

Spellbinder Storage

I bought one pkg of vent covers at Walmart that didn't work; the dies fell off. Then I tried a pkg of vent covers that I bought at a home supply store--like Lowe's. Same thing. Finally I invested in the magnets/divided protector sheets from CropStop. I have to grasp the die with three fingers to get it! Heehee! It was more pricey than many of you have suggested, however, my zipper binders full of these delightful dies are happy, and so am I! (BTW, I store my Spellbinders, MFT, PTI, QK, BK ... all of my magnetci dies in them.)
I bought magnetic sheets at Walmart (since, I have seen them elsewhere) and cut them into 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (or 4 x 7 for the mega ovals, for example) and write the name of the set on a sticky label and slide them into the pockets of the appropriate plastic photo page. They all go into a binder that sits on the same shelf with my Cuttlebug. They are not as easily accessible as they would be hanging on a door, but for one, I have too many for that and secondly, I don't have shelves with doors in my craft room. I simply flip through, find what I want (4 sets to a side of a page, making it 8 total per page - two to a side for a total of 4 for the mega size) and slip it out. It doesn't need to be a super strong magnet as the pockets hold it. By the way, I use the same system for my embossing folders (minus the magnetic sheets) which I keep in a different binder on the other side of my Cuttlebug basket. The company I buy my plastic pages from (Century Photo) has slide pages, too, which are perfect for the small folders. This is the most compact way I could find, is portable (if needed), and has room for expansion.
I had some business card magnets to use for my PC business, and stuck one of those onto the card my nesties came with. They go in my box with all my other dies. Works great and I already had them. I also had a 2010 magnet from our horse show series that had dates on it that I'm going to attach to my next ones.

Save your drama for your llama.
I got a pkg of 4x6 magnetic sheets from Oriental Trading and adhered them to 4x6 pieces of cereal box for rigidity using double-stick tape. Then I used colored tapes to color code them (red for circles, yellow for squares, etc) by folding the tape over the edges. Then I wrote the category in the center of the taped top edge (circles, squares, etc), the item number from Spellbinders on the left, and the description on the right (scalloped, etc). Now I can flip through by color and then easily find the one I want. Having the item number keeps me from buying something I already have. ;)
i too, used the magnetic sheets from walmart. they are in the crafting section, and are usually used for making your own photo magnets. and they already have the adhesive on one side!
i made a book for all of my nesties, because i need to take them with me for classes and stamping with friends.
i did have to put a thin chipboard on the back of each for stability, but then i just added a pocket for my embossing folders.
and i used my Bind It All, i love that thing!!

Wow, this is perfect! I need to make one of these...
love the idea of the magnetic vent covers. Right now I store mine in the SU stamp folders and place 2 strip magnets in each. The strips have an adhesive back that attach to the clear folder - so I can see thru it to see the design - they store neatly on my shelf above my side desk with my CB. To use the picture mag holders from the $place is a great idea as well. Thanks all
I had too many dies to put on magnetic strips so I got cd envelopes, the one with the clear circle in the front, and stored each set in them. I keep the flap up and labeled each one and then filed alphabetically and have a list in the front of the box i store them in. This has worked well for me, cheap and doesn't take up a lot of space.
I buy the vent covers at Home Depot and they haven't let me down yet....I cut them the size of the clear stamp covers from SU and insert the picture of the set between the white non magnetic side and the outside of the box...It works for me.

I use the magnetic sheets in a 12x12 (cheap) photo album. I can get several sets on one page, and I can just flip thru it and see what I have. Since I already had some albums left over from a GS project (my DD is now in college), it didn't cost that much to get the sheets from Ms. Coupons are great .

I have my nesties stored in double size cd cases with business card size magnets from Staples holding them in place. The double size case allows you to put two die sets in them, such as Lg and Sm Circles etc. I also bought cd wire towers to hold the cases (20 per) so that holds quite a few....although after filling 8 towers, I bought a bird cage cd holder today. It will house over 200 cases taking up a 14" foot print on my table top. Shipping is expensive so the cheapest doesn't really work out to be the cheapest.

This is exactly what I do and I really love it. I have one album for my Nesties and other die cutters and one for my embossing folders, brass stencils and texture plates. I keep them on the shelf right next to the basket that hold my Cuttlebug and box of plates and shims.

Duhhhhhhh! Never thought about adding one for my brass stencils! Thanks for that idea.
