Default Taking the punge! (unmounting)

I share my stamping space with my sleeping space (i.e. bedroom holds it all.. hahah). After getting my first unmounted stampin' up! set I fell in love! totally in love! I've had unmounted before but what I really fell in love with was the storage cases. I started unmounting my other stamp sets immediately!

Today I ordered 12 of the bulk buy storage cases. 48 total cases coming my way also was able to get a sale-a-bration set as well. ;) Can't beat that.

I hope 48 boxes will be enough......

I'm still trying to work up the nerve to unmount my hundreds of sets! Are you going to use easy mount? If not, how will you make them stick to the cases? You gotta talk me into this! LOL! I have no problems using bare rubber other than storing and IDing them. I have big blueprint cabinets so they just lay in there flat, so that wouldn't be an option for the others when there would be so many. TIA and sorry all the questions but I really want to do this!

I have a few sets with ez mount. Then I started with aleene's tack it over and over, which I like but I do not have much craft time and I do not want to spend it getting ready. So I am going with bare rubber with tack n peel on my block. My bff had given me a piece awhile ago once I tried it, I realized how easy it is! I use double sided tape in my cd cases to hold the stamps in place. I unmounted at least 25 sets just on Sunday morning. I do have a pad to stamp on, with bare rubber you need cushioning.

She did wonders with her stamps! Hundreds of sets in just a few of the new SU DVD-sized cases. Almost made me want to redo my unmounted storage...but just almost. Mine works great.

I have just started unmounting mine too and am waiting for another 40 cases to arrive. I've used the tack it over and over to hold mine in place and it is great. I love the fact there is/will be less clutter in my bedroom, too!

Right now I'm doing it with this method. It's super easy and cheap! Scrolling down you can see the videos.

Someday I imagine I'll move on to ezcling.
