I don't make a lot of cards anymore, but when I do, I take a photo to save as an example just as many of you do. However, I also write the name of the recipient on a sticky note and put it inside the stamp case. That is easy and I can immediately see if I need to use a different set. This is especially true of birthday and holiday sets. The chances of sending the same get well or congrats card would be pretty slim. I realize this would not work for those of you who make and send large amounts of cards, but it works well for me.
This tool looks really useful and well made! Definitely going to try it. It does look a little old, is it still being developed?
Also I was curious about how colormylife compares with searchfindcreate
Other than having two different product catalogs on their platform, it seems like they’re both really good at tracking your inventory. Especially compared to using evernote or something else.
Just wonder about what others experience with these tools were. Do you like one over the other? Which one is better to use in 2023?
I don’t know searchfindcreate, but Color My Life is updated regularly with new product catalogs and app enhancements. They also just launched a web-based version. I use it all the time and am so glad to have it.

I haven't tried the web version, but I love Color My Life! Never heard of searchfindcreateI used to use Evernote, but there was like a year where it was completely unusable due to the slow time to load. I posted a little review and comparison of the two on my blog a couple years ago: The Stamping Actuary Blog at Splitcoaststampers
We rely on the companies to provide their catalog to us. Unfortunately Stampin' Up! haven't replied to our queries. We did had 7,000+ retired products to our database, but these were manually compiled from the retired lists on the internet (with no images since these are copyrighted).

Are we able to put in photos of the stamp set and/or card samples our self?
Ladies I did find a SU demo who has photos of all the stamps/dies and archived sets. Her name is dawn olchefske and her blog/website is dostamping.type pad.com. Under her tab “Library” she has a MASSIVE collection under her resource library that you can take photos of and use for your cataloging
I just started inputting my stamp sets to Color My Life. Do I need to ‘Tag’ all the wording in each stamp set or will Color My Life search the image for those words? TU!
