that is really neat.. I use three of the Quickutz magnetic books to store mine in, but need another and before I spent $$ on aother, I wanted to find a different storage option. thanks for sharing

Great idea! I do something similar, mine are on 8.5X11 magnetic sheets in these protectors. I do magnetic sheets on both sides - with a piece of cardboard (like the ones that come in the DSP packs in between) and store them upright on my desk. I can fit 6-8 sets in one container, and they are very portable.
this is what i use. i use this for my many dreamweaver stencils also.
each time i go to home depot or lowe's i buy 3 packs. each package has 3 sheets in it-great value!
What tool do you cut them with? I have never seen these before. Does it ruin your scissor or blade or whatever you use?
RE: Magnetic vent covers.
I didn't cut mine, but they are thin enough to cut with a regular pair of scissors. I think they're meant to be easily trimmed, in order to fit your particular vent. The guy who helped me find them at Menards (home improvement store in the midwest), told me that his daughter took some of the leftovers and cut pieces to make her own magnets. He was super hunky so I believed him. LOL!
Here is my bulletin board (free-already had it and not using it) with 3 of the vent covers.
I use the magnetic vent covers too! They are SUPER cheap and work great. They are thin enough to cut. I used my trimmer. They are a little flimsy and need to be adhered to something. I used cardstock and put the name on the top edge so I can find what I looking for quickly. Mine are in a photo type box.
Wow.. I was just posting on another Nestie storage thread about this same idea, Ree. I got my boxes from Walmart, and they don't have hanging files, but basically the same idea. I also stick them to those magnetic vent covers from Home Depot (scissors work great).
