I got a bunch of those round magnetic tins, they are around 2 or 3 inches around. I thought they would be cute to store some stuff in. But now I am not sure what to put in them. Anyone use them;what do you put in them?
Also flowers, scraps of ribbon, mini clothespins, ribbon sliders, resin embellishments - basically anything small enough to get lost in the shuffle and/or anything that's hard to store any other way...
I would take a piece of metal sheeting and hang them up on the wall or somewhere convenient. I would love to have those. Like mentioned I would put brads, eyelets all kinds of little clips and such.
I have been collecting these round things that you find gum in. I get them at target. They flip at the top as well as there is a side pour. I pull off the juicy fruit label and they are frosty but you can easily see through the top. I'm using them for buttons, brads, eyelets and anything that I need to have stored in a small container. I'm sure that you'll find a great use for them.
do those rounds tins have a magnetic base underneath? Micheals used to carry a magnetic board that is great for embellishments/buttons/floral pieces and holds 16 of those tins. Here someone used it for makeup

I have the round magnetic spice containers from Ikea. I also have the magnetic knife holder from Ikea, I used shorter screws and mounted the knife holder onto the front of a Ledge Shelf (also from Ikea), so I have storage in front for the containers, which have buttons, etc. and storage on top of the shelf for jars, punches, etc...
