Default keeping paper in file folders

I used to keep my 8 1/2 x 11 paper in file folders but I quit that because the paper slouched and curled.

But now I'm outgrowing my literature organizer and want to go back to file folders.

Any tips on keeping the paper flat????

thanks

I keep mine in extra capacity sheet protectors, then in hanging file folders. I haven't had any slouching -- except for me at the desk!

ROFLOL valli! Funny!
I keep mine in hanging folders also. I don't seem to have any problems either.

There seems to be less slouching going on if the file folders are snug to one another versus having a lot of wiggle room.

aha, that may have been my problem, overcrowding!

I have a 4 drawer file cabinent, I think there should be plenty of room in that.

ooh, thanks for the idea I never knew there were extra capacity sheet protectors, but I found some on line.

I know what you mean about slouching...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that undercrowding is the problem, not overcrowding. I think the key is to have tons of paer to pack that drawer full.

So you need to buy more paper!! :-D

I keep my Stampin' Up Card Stock in hanging files with computer printed labels and a little punched out square of the paper to show the colour. I adore this method. The hanging file folders in a holder on a DH built cart that wheels under my desk.

I have the rest of the DP in an wire paper display rack from a store that went out of business.

I agree! I'll even pay! Looks awesome. Great job!

I have kept my paper in hanging files for well over 10 years with no issues. I agree that it needs to be full so nothing can snag.

If you haven't bought enough paper yet, just fill the back of the drawer space with a box.

Thanks everyone!

I do feel pretty lucky to have my paper layed out so well - I really am happy with it. Adding in the piece of the actual paper helps so much as I can just hold things up to the label to see the paper I want without pulling out the sheets.

Happy inking!

You can also find labels made out of the actual paper on eBay for about $5 a set. I adore mine.
