How far apart do you need to place the bygel bars to comfortably remove the punches when you stack one over the other. The wall I'm considering putting the bygel bars is only a half wall and there is only 16 inches of wall space above my desk--can I fit two in there?

That's a good question. Mine are about 8 inches apart, which is fine. So, you will be able to get two in your space. However, I wanted to put some of the baskets and S hooks on mine, and I do not have enough space for that.
I bought a large bulletin board at Office Depot and attached 1 small and 2 large Bygel rods for my punches and baskets. This leaves me some posting room on the board for current projects, things I want to remember, etc. And I only have 2 picture hanger-type holes in the wall!

Wow, I wish I had thought of that before I hammered all of those plastic wall anchors into my wall!
