Default I Craft in a Closet

Let me just say that I am an incredibly blessed woman to even get to craft. I use my card making as a way to relieve stress, and I am thankful for it.

My craft space started out as a room about 5 years ago when we moved here to GA. Shortly after that, my husband deployed for a year to Iraq for the 1st time, and I really used my crafting to get away from the stress. Two years later my mother moved in with us. It needed to happen and we happened to have that 4th bedroom, so I felt blessed that we were able to offer her that. She felt completely awful that I was giving up my craft space for her. I assured her that God is good, and it would be fine. I sat on my bed, happy to have my mother with us, but sad that I had to give up my hobby. From where I sat on my bed I could see into my almost walk-in closet. Within a matter of moments I noticed that I could probably turn half of that closet into my space. Sure it was small, but it would be mine. Not only did my table fit in there perfectly, but there was also an outlet in there. . .'thank you God' is all I could think. My husband deployed again shortly after my mother moved in, and that space has worked. While it works, it is extremely crammed in there and I have had to sacrifice clothing space.

Someday soon we will probably be moving, as that is the life of the Army. When we do move I may not be afforded the option of half of my closet. I have enclosed some pictures of what I have to work with at the moment. By the time the decision is made as to who will be receiving this wonderful gift, my husband will be gone on his 3rd deployment. I would love for him to come back to a better use of our space. Thank you for considering me.
