Whew, I moved rooms around in my house earlier this year so that I could have a craft room. My craft room is actually what should be the formal dining room. We never used it so I put my formal dining room furniture in my old office space. I actually like it there better! It looks elegant in there for some reason. Anyway, I haven't had time to get my curtains made or photos done of my new room but yesterday I made it my mission to get it done! You can see it here. I have about 15 photos or so of my room. Feel free to let me know if you have questions. Have a blessed day!

I love it! I visit your blog often and have taken many of your ideas and implemented them into my room too. Thanks so much for sharing all of your wonderful ideas!! I LOVED your framed patterns and that gave me the idea to frame my mother's old cross stitch patterns for dish towels. Also, your rolodex for stamp indexing, I am doing that as well, what a fantastic idea that is. Please, keep sharing!!
Agh, you are TOO sweet! Thank you! I LOVE sharing so I certainly will keep it up--as long as I don't run out of ideas. LOL! I find I feel like I have shown all I can show but then I think of something else. If you have ideas of what you want to see, just let me know! And thanks again for your sweet words and glad you are able to implement some of my ideas!

Your rooms are beautiful, and very inspirational! I love how you can have all your many crafting items and still keep everything looking so neat and tidy! Awesome job!
What a fun room! Thanks for taking time to share it with all of us. I really benefit from your organizational Fridays tips, and I've been able to implement several of your time and space-saving tips in my (much smaller, but still organized) craft space. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love all the organization and storage and you make it look so good. You are very good at repurposing items. I looked very closely as I will sometime soon get a new studio (craft room - studio sounds better to me). Have fun creating in you newly done space.

Thanks for sharing! That furniture is so beautiful. I kept looking at that cabinet and the Scrap Box and I couldn't decide. So I finally went with Best Craft Organizers. I could look at craft rooms all day.
Oooh, Colleen, I need to hop over and look at your blog. Can't wait to see what you did with your room!
stampjourney, I am glad some of my ideas have helped in your room! And Lisa, you will have to share your room/studio when it is done!
katestamps716, my room is about 12x13. I wasn't sure it was going to work with all of this furniture but it does, thankfully!
And Nadine, it doesn't always stay this clean but since the room is right off of our foyer, I need to keep it "kind of neat" for anyone that may stop by. And you are just up the road from me! LOL!
And thanks to everyone else for your sweet words. I have had many questions about my room too so I will be sharing the answers to those next Friday in a post.

My craft room is off the foyer also. My craft room, hall, foyer, and living room are all painted the same color-taupe. I'd love to pain my craft room something more cheery but not sure if it would look right being a different color. There's a 4' doorway going into my room, no door.

Yes, that's why I didn't paint my walls either. It's also why my curtains are not totally pink! LOL! Oh well! And I don't have any doors either. I have a 6 foot opening from the foyer, and a 4 foot opening next to my sewing area which leads to a hall to the kitchen. You can see that opening in one of my photos.

Gosh, Patter, what a fabulous, fabulous room. My husband's just come into this room to see why I'm uttering little moans of envy..... you've done a fantastic job with it, thanks so much for sharing and giving us lots of lovely inspiration.

I always admire your univenture boxes for unmounted stamps. I have been using dvd cases since they will hold more than cd cases but I still feel overwhelmed by the number of cases. And, the labels are so tiny I have to get really close lately to see them.
I decided to try a few univenture boxes (with the Gina K inserts) and have to tell you I love them! Some of the stamps purchased unmounted have foam but most of my collection I unmounted and left the rubber bare. So, for most I've been able to get 5-6 inserts per box. Since the bare rubber won't stick to the insert I run a strip of poster tape to hold the stamp. It is fantastic! I just ordered enough boxes and inserts to transfer all my stamps from dvd cases to the boxes. And, they have a super sale on the two ring boxes so that's what I got. I had to punch new holes in the inserts but for the $$$ savings it was worth it. Thank you for sharing this great storage idea.
I forgot to mention that since the boxes take less shelf space than the equivalent cases, I expect to free up AT LEAST one third of the current shelf space.
