Clip it Up Ribbon Storage and SU Ribbon?

There are some great sales on this unit right now, but before I commit, has anyone been using this with SU ribbon? The 1/4 inch grosgrain in particular?

I know this is an old post, but I have this unit and use it with all my SU ribbon. The 1/4 grosgrain spools sit up a little higher, they do not fit "inside", (all the rest sit completely inside of the holder), but they are secure and I am able to pull out the ribbon without problems.
