WOW! I can't believe all the hard work that went into this. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart from yet another gal. What a lucky break... I saw this on my way into the gallery. Thank you for being so kind to share this with all of us. I can't wait to play with this tomorrow!
This is awesome! My hubby bought me the 120 set for Christmas. He knows I've been wanting these PC's for a very, very long time. Can't wait to play on Christmas morning! Your list will be printed out and used with love. Thanks again for this wonderful resource.
your list. DH just bought me a 120 pack for christmas and I worked on matching them up myself, but I had some I just couldn't find matches for. Didn't get a chance to compare to your list yet.
One question...Did anyone match up the "in color" colors?
Even before I was hooked on SU products, I was a Prismacolor pencil Addict! What a great idea, and perfect comparison! I will use this forever~ Thank you so much!

Very cool!! Thank you so much for the time and effort that went into making this chart - and for sharing it with us!

I am a bit colour challenged.
I want to organise my 120 prisma pencils into a colour rainbow so I can find the best colours to shade and blend with.
Clear as mud? sorry.
I want to group like colours so I can find ones that are similar.
I used to have my su matches separate from the other colours but I've decided that in order to do better blending and shading I need to put similar colurs together.
How hard do you think this would be? Has anyone tried it?

If you look at post 67 in this thread, you will find my post about the incolors.
Thanks so much for this great resource. However, you HAVE to be sure to include any discontinued PC pencils that match SU! because some of us have older pencil sets that still have these discontinued colors and we'd love to know what they match.
How about just putting an asterisk or something to indicate that it is a discontinued color for those who still have the pencils in their collections?
Again, this is great. I'm a compulsive matcher of colors and swatch maker. you saved me some time and trouble.
I am having a hard time waiting for the new In Colors to get here so I have played around a bit with the *printed* colors in the preview catalog. Now, you have to realize that what I say here could change so don't get too fired up about these!!! All that said, here is what it looks like might be the pencil colors for the NEW In Colors:
Purely Pomegranate: 995 Mulberry
Groovy Guava: 939 Peach
River Rock: 1084 Ginger Root
Wild Wasabi: I had trouble with this one, there wasn't really a good match but I am going to start with 1089 Pale Sage. It looks too light but may be the right tint.
Soft Sky: another discontinued color (sorry!) 1016 Deco Aqua
Blue Bayou: 1088 Muted Turquoise
When the papers come in I will look again and see if I was right in my guess!
