This week we are celebrating "patterned papers" as our inspiration. Preferring a clean and simple style, I personally don't use patterned paper often. However, I want to learn new ways to incorporate it (especially since I have a closet full of paper - LOL)! So, I'm hoping you'll enjoy the open-ended-ness of this week's challenge where you can be inspired by one of the 3 samples I provided below, and/or any patterned paper in your room, and/or any concept or technique in the inspiration videos below. You may even choose to be inspired by someone else's design in the IC604 gallery! Whichever approach you take, I'm very excited, and looking forward to seeing your projects with patterned paper gorgeousness this week! Remember, inspiration is everywhere and anywhere you seek to find it!

No patterned paper - no problem...
Goals: I'd love to see new inspired gallery members....if you never gave the challenge a try, this is a good one, because the inspiration starts at your house! So, please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge...we look at your galleries too! Rather, give it a shot and take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new with patterned paper for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC604 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. This challenge is especially good for new stampers as the inspiration is so wide-ended. Even if you are a CAS artist like myself....there are plenty of ways to incorporate pattered paper. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
I really wanted to do a Chalkboard card- and I went with a tried and true stamp set- Paper Smooches' Squeaky Clean- inspired by this awesome card. Here's love machine

Loved the videos Audrie. I chose to play in my scrap bin and used the inspiration on the first video to put these patterned papers together on my card:

Like, Audrey, I rarely use patterned paper on my cards, but have a LOT of it (paper hoarder?). So it took me a while to go through my papers to find a few that I think work well together. Here is my card: IC604 Butterfly Hello

For today's background challenge, I went with a nice wool themed photo from our road trips to the Western Washington Yarn Shop Hop- added my own sheep and yarn basket. Finished with a fringed trim tie. Here's Wooly Wrap

Ooh! So much fun! I used to always find my color schemes from SU Designer paper (as I feared "doing it wrong" in terms of color coordination.) Anyway, I am supposed to be doing yard work, but may do more of these today. Thanks for including the links to KWerner's videos. I watched all 4! Sabrina and Audrie; I had the bg of this card done a couple of days ago, but never put anything together with it. I felt it would be good for both challenges! Thanks for the inspiration!

OK, maybe I am having too much fun! Third one for today's challenge: IC604 Cheers by IndigosMom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
One thing I don't do that Kristina Werner advises in her videos is to plan ahead. This one is a bit of a victim of no planning / making it on the fly.
Thanks for looking!

Love to use patterned papers...this challenge fits perfectly with the WT challenge this week to use strips of paper...I used patterned papers in the Herringbone Technique...lots of pattern and my inspiration! Here is my card: Flowers for Daughter's Birthday!
