You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
I can count on one hand the amount of great ideas that I've had, in my whole life, which resulted in some sort of recognition with financial gain! Well I was so impressed (and maybe a little jealous - LOL) when Iliana Myska invented the MISTI (most incredible stamping tool invented)! It became instantly popular amongst stampers, and now you'll even see other big creative companies releasing similar tools which in turn are also very successful! WOW - I bet Iliana is feeling pretty awesome! What a great story of a creative artist using their ingenuity and sharing the love worldwide! Since the MISTI is actually one of my favorite tools in my craft room, I've selected her blog site My Sweet Petunia as our inspiration site this week! You definitely don't have to use the MISTI to participate in the challenge, because there are plenty of beautiful ideas and photos on her blog. I'm sure you'll find something that will motivate you to create your own uniquely ingenious and inspiring card or project!
Challenge Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the blog reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from Iliana Myska's blog site at My Sweet Petunia.
Use the keyword: IC592 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Audrie- yet another wonderful challenge site, thanks! I do love my MISTI- and I was inspired by Allee's leafy tree card background. I used a My Favorite Things Pure Innocence stamp set- four leaf clover- for my card, sponging my sky and using direct to paper for my sentiment block. Die cut 4 mini hearts to create my 4 leaf clover, and added both a gold sparkly and washi tape border for fun. Finished with a tan border under my sentiment. Here's I'm Lucky

Here is mine! I love my Misti and watched a couple of videos today. One, was how to clean it so the stamps stay on! Learned something and got mine all clean.
Thanks for the challenge, Audrie!
