It has been a CRAZY week at work, so I always look forward to a little IC fun at the end of a rough work week :p . With that said, let's get a bit more diversified by leveraging a site that has every kind of inspiration imaginable! This weeks' inspiration site was chosen by my guest hostess, Jo (aka Reddyisco) , who is a very talented stamper and artist with SCS since 2007. I'm crazy about her site selection! It's one of my favorite affordable on-line shopping locations, and I'm sure it's one of yours too: Bed Bath & Beyond. Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because a picture on the site reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions as you browse the images. Remember, you may be inspired by colors, styles, themes, and even textures! Just let the site touch you in any way at all! Be inspired to create something new and uniquely YOU today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Bed Bath & Beyond site.
Use the keyword: IC427 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Audrie- wonderful inspiration site- I went to the basics- used the Honey-Can-Do canvas and chrome rolling laundry hamper- - and employed Paper Smooches' Squeaky Clean stamp set for my card. Added a lighted home from my stamping buddy Diane, and a coordinating button. Finished with an embossed heart, using Sizzix' Retro Cirque ef. Here's Love Machine Dedicated to my DH who is recovering from surgery and due home in a few days.

HERE is my card and HERE is my inspiration. Loved the luxurious look of the pillow case designs so I tried to emulate that in my card. Sponged over the embossing and then added the pearl swirl as an afterthought. That side needed something and I didn't like the look of ribbon and bow so there you go! Thanks for looking!

This was so fun to do! Not often do I have the time to play in the Saturday Inspiration Challenge. It made for a fun way to spend some time in my stamp room looking out at the snow falling.
my inspiration garden paradise here is my card flowers on a plate . I hope I did this right, getting my card and the bed, bath and beyond picture. that was the hardest part, I'm not much of a computer person. The colors came out a little darker than I wanted them to. Thanks for looking. Keeping my fingers crossed as I hit the post quick reply button.

BB&B is a great place Jo and Audrie! I could find inspiration for 10 cards a day for years to come and never run out of items that inspired me! Hee. I made two cards today (Sun.) for yesterday's challenge:
