Ok, I finished mine. I'm really getting into this now, but it is cutting into my scrapbooking time. smile. Hope someone likes this one because I really had to put my thinking cap on....
This was a great challenge! :-) I love that purse... but only in my dreams will I ever carry it. LOL!!! I will have to use this one... I guess!! LOL!! This is my moms Easter basket. Her name is Vickie so it works! :-) I hope you like it!! Valentino Easter Basket
WOOHOO, Karen!! Can't believe I'm actually getting to play in the IC--it felt soooo good!! When I saw this it was the inspiration needed to get started on coming up with a Mother's Day card.
I love this challenge because as I've gone through the gallery, I love everyone's card! But what I enjoy so much is the incredible diversity of inspiration we each draw from Karen's ideas! Some cards are so far from what I saw, I have to go back to the original object! It really helps me see things in a wholly new way -- and probably helps me in daily life be more open minded!
This has been so fun to watch all day, that when I finally found some time to stamp I gave it a try myself. Here is my card inspired by this gorgeous handbag: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Whew! Done! I had to sneak my stamping in today because we had a lot to do so this card is a sum of stolen moments....
This was a really fun challenge so I really wanted to play today. I loved the purse idea, and to be honest I think that everyone's interpretations of the purse are a lot nicer than the original handbag.
Here's what I came up with - a matchbook with my own big, gold KD smack on the front. (Valentino's not the only one who can flash his monogram around :p )
The house is quiet because I'm the only one still up, and I wasn't sleepy so I just had to make this card that popped into my head in the middle of seeing "The Last Mimzy" today.
I took the challenge literally this time and made a card that looks like a purse - a COACH purse, which I am addicted to and have a collection of....LOL! It's not gonna fit into a standard envelope, but I think I love it too much to give it away anyway!
