This week we have a wonderfully inspiring Pinterest Board that is filled with marvelous photography that honors nature, in particular our Birds of a Feather. If you are a nature lover this will be real eye candy for you. If you're not, the rich and vibrant colors they wear so gracefully will serve as your inspiration. If you find yourself inspired by both the birds and the colors, then I bet you'll be one of this week's Inspiration Geniuses! Please join me and create something new and uniquely your own from the Birds of a Feather Pinterest Board this week!
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Challenge Goals: Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it - this is all about creating from an inspiration. So, please take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on the images you browse this week. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by the Birds of a Feather board.
Use the keyword: IC541 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, so don't subscribe to Pinterest, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
Thank you Audrie for showing us those beautiful birds - some look to amazing to be real! This little bluetit looked dazed on my balcony on Monday and when I picked him up to check him out he just sat on my hand looking around! What a moment that was!
What gorgeous birds! I had a hard time choosing. I might go back and try again. Here's my card.

Thank you, Audrie, for this most GORGEOUS inspiration site - which I've saved for later when I have more time to absorb all the beauty! I love to photograph birds, and have had two of my photos published in Birds & Blooms magazine and one in their hardcover book. Here is my Painted Bunting card

Great site, such wonderful birds! I was inspired by the Jameson's Firefinch and went with a card from my stash, made with a vintage SU set- adding some knitting images, and a yarn embellishment. Here's Take Time

I had this stamp and thought I would try my hand at it this morning - and try and try and try ... you get the picture! Oh boy! I used the colors of this bird for my inspiration:

Thanks for asking, Audrie:
This is one of my favorite photos - degree of difficulty 10+. First they are so tiny, and second their wings move at a phenomenal rate. I was thrilled to catch both, in flight.

Just got back from a walk, saw so many birds! Used SU's Simple Somethings for my long legged birds- inspired by the Dalmatian Pelican's coloring. Here's Great Birds

Beautiful, beautiful site Audrie.....I have tons of birds pinned also.....I honestly had no idea how many spectacular birds existed until a started pinning.
Combined the terrific plumage colors from this bird and combined it with this week's color challenge- turquoise, purple and green. Added some twines for fun- stamps are from October 2015's paper pumpkin kit- Blissful Bouquet. Here's Gold Leaf Jar

Audrie, as usual your inspiration site is gorgeous. It was difficult to pick just one bird, but it was fun to see so many beautiful birds photos in one place! I selected a purple starling for my inspiration. Here's my submission. Thanks, Audrie!
