How's about something sweet this week?! In fact, why don't you get comfortable and have a 'cookie' or 2!! I've selected a wonderfully inspired themed Pinterest gallery called Beautiful Cookies by Robin Traversy. You are truly going to be amazed that anyone would dare eat these (although I definitely might, they look just as yummy as they are beautiful)! Since there are almost 700 images, and also because some of you may have Pinterest connection problems, I've also uploaded 15 rather than 5 favorite images below - so feel free to reference them as your inspiration rather than pins from the Pinterest board! Please join me and savor that sweet tooth, while being inspired to design something deliciously creative in 'your' own style this week!
TIP: Even if you don't log-in to Pinterest, you can see, and use, the links that other card designers provide in their SCS descriptions. So don't hesitate to 'reuse' their links for your own creative art too!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Beautiful Cookies board pinned by Robin Traversy.
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Use the keyword: IC484 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 15 of my favorites..… so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie, what an incredible cookie gallery! Thanks for brining this to our attention. I've bookmarked several photographs that could surely work for your challenge, and what a great it is. Thanks so much.

And oh my freakin' amazing cookieness!!!! I of course am now following that Pinterest Board and I spent so long just looking at every.single.cookie on it!!! LOL Here's the specific Pin that my card is inspired by.....pink snowflakes!
I made this card the other day; but, when I read today's challenge, I had to add it to the gallery. I am definitely going to make a new card specifically for the challenge, but I thought it would be fun to include this one.

Well, I guess I could have been inspired by the second-last thumb, but in fact I picked something out from what I was able to see, and had fun. There is some wonderful inspiration just in the thumbs - wish I didn't have something else on this afternoon! IC484 Simple Pink Bunny
audrie- awesome site! loved the animals, cocoa brown panel, and heart in this card and used Hambo Stamps' Armadillo and On The Road stamps. Did a bit of coloring, and added a french bakery bag for a vertical yellow border. Finished with a scalloped vertical border Here's Safe Travels- end of our spring break!
