This week's inspiration website is "My Deco" . The website is a collection of boutique items from all around the world! You'll find modern to over-the-top artsy pieces, it's a wonderful place to lose yourself! I hope you'll check it out and play along this weekend!
Because many of the items in this web store feature unique and original art, please remember to respect the artists creativity and do not print and use any of the photos directly on your card or project.
If you don't have time to spend browsing "My Deco," attached are a few samples from the website that you are welcome to use as your inspiration!
How to Play ~ View the attached sample images and/or browse the suggested website. Get your inspiration from the the individual items, style, patterns, theme or color pallets. Just enjoy wherever your inspired and creative journey takes you! Make the inspiration piece your own! Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong'! There is no time limit on this challenge and there are no rules. Explore and enjoy ~ be *inspired* to create, have fun, and share your artwork!!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Anne- awesome site! I was inspired by the ABC Poster with its friendly creatures- thought a sunny yellow and red background would be a nice background for this dog. Added some recycled red and white ribbon, and some buttons. Here's Woof

I was inspired by the Cole Tablerunner, black cotton with its cool green umbrella shapes and grey stripes. I used MFT's Rain or Shine stamp set, along with QuicKutz's Heart Doily to lend a sweet vintage theme- as this is dedicated to my dear sister who needed an encouraging card. Here's Rain or Shine- I'm Here For You

What a ton of inspiration on this site, Anne! Here's my card -- Birthday Birds . I don't know how much commenting I'll be able to do today. My granddaughter is in a dance recital, and they tend to be quite long.
I've had such a super week at being able to play at the challenges. Thanks to all at SCS and my fellow stampers for sharing their talents everyday.
83 degrees 2 days ago and this morning we have ice all over the porches......such is life in central Ohio!!! Have a happy Saturday.

I had a few minutes before my crazy day begins (huge thanks to Anne for taking over hosting duties), so I decided to join the fun. Here's my card inspired by the Abena Carved Frame:
Some gorgeous, if pricey!! stuff. And wow, the carriage! DH was tempted by some of the cards, but not when the shipping was more than the card  .
We had fun looking, and while I initially planned to go with some beautiful bird napkins, when I found the robot sticker I knew I'd scored.
Mad busy weekend, I'll try to comment when I can... IC385 Bot Birthday

I held on to this image for a while, and posted my project today for the Mix-Ability challenge - it's still a work in progress, but I love that I was able to give the splattered map idea a try!
