Welcome anyone in the Raleigh, NC area that would like to meet for lunch and chat...[/COLOR][/SIZE]
I know several folks work and /or live in the RTP area, let me know what days and locations are good for you. Then we can try to schedule some quick fun lunches to chat and share ideas.

I'm in the NW part of Cary where people are never sure if it's Cary or Morrisville. :-) Work in RTP so weekends (since I travel lots and I'm not always in town) or even nights would be more preferable for get-togethers but I understand that some people probably prefer weekdays.
I'll put you down and we can see who else prefers nights and weekends.
My hubby travels Mon thru Thurs so weeknights aren't good for me but weekends work sometimes...
I'll summarize preferences in post #1 and then it will be easier to see who else might want to get together when you or any one else is ready for girl/crafty time.

I live in Chapel Hill and work in North Raleigh off I-440. Weekday lunches will be a challenge for me but may be possible. Weekends or nights are better.

I'll throw one out for consideration - Macaroni Grill at Triangle Town Center OR Olive Garden on Capital Blvd. I will be gone some in September but may be able to make it depending on the date.
Any of those locations work for me. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to work and not shop. It's not like I need to buy anything since I bought so much this weekend at the CK convention in Charlotte.

Any of those locations work for me. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to work and not shop. It's not like I need to buy anything since I bought so much this weekend at the CK convention in Charlotte.
I got to the CK Convention around 5:00 on Friday. I met a group of friends and we went to dinner and to the crop from 7-11. It was crazy with about 350 croppers in the room. They had some giveaways and everyone got a goodie bag. Other than that they provided no drinks, food or tools. I don't think I will pay $26 to do that again. They also had some vendors selling stuff and it was a mob everytime they announced a special.
Saturday we went to shop at the vendor faire and "took" 2 classes. One was excellent and the other we just decided to get the class kit and go. I wish I had had more time to shop but it was probably just as well that I didn't. I did enough damage!
It is a great convention to go to and I had a great time with my friends. We stayed in the Hilton right next to the convention center and it was very nice and very convenient.

Sounds fun, hectic, exciting and crazy at the same time..I would have been so hungry though!
Can't make those becuase I work in Cary and it would take me longer than an hour to drive both ways and eat...sorry ladies - I will look for the next one!!
I can do lunch at Olive Garden on the 22nd. I will be at Lake Wylie at a weekend crop on the 19th so I wouldn't be able to come that day.
