Jen, will we be able to buy one of those cute little SCS travel mugs at CHA??? I just saw an ad for one!
Good morning! I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but we hadn't planned on packin' up our store inventory! We've got a nice-sized booth, but with make & takes going on all through the day, we're not going to have a lot of extra space for retail. Our make & take companies may be selling kits, though (it's up to them), and I'm sure we'll hear about that very soon.

Awwww man!! :( I was really hoping to get some scs goodies!!
We need to figure out a plan girls!

Okay! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I didn't know that the companies were setting up camp IN the SCS booth, I thought they'd have their own booths. I guess we'll all be in that booth!!
LOL!!!!
*snicker* at the old lady carts!!
Just might have to order if they aren't going to bring any! ;)
We were talking about them in the other thread and that's what someone else called them! I thought it'd be a little awkward with one, but I'm all about packin' in more goodies than I can carry!
What is an Old Lady Cart? Is it one of those oversized shopping bag-type things on wheels?
Has anyone checked out the CHA page on Facebook? They have some photos under the give-aways section, but I can't imagine they are actually going to be give-aways. Perhaps door or booth prizes? If they are give-aways, then plan on bringing two empty suitcases.

Do I seriously need to bring a rolling tote??? Are they allowed on the showroom floor? I know that GASC banned them (and strollers except umbrella ones) a few years ago as people kept hitting others with them and they were a general nuisance.
I've been to a number of conventions where folks had those rolling totes and I will agree -- they are quite a nuisance
I don't plan on buying a lot of stuff, so hopefull my small back pack will hold my make and takes, etc.

Anyone know about CHA?
I always bring a rolling bag to CHA.

But do you think that the Craft Super Show will be the same with regard to make n takes, give-aways and various stuff that one would have to lug around all day?

I honestly don't know. I think I'd rather have it and not need it than not have it if I do. I use my laptop bag that I travel with.

I know!! I think I might be in trouble if I came though. I am directing "My Fair Lady" (and playing in the orchestra) and we have performances on those nights! Otherwise I would be there in a flash! I have never been to Florida (and in the heat of the summer even lol)!

I just wanted to say that I have the best family ever :-) My DH just stopped by Michaels on the way to the pool place. Then when we got home, I was floating around in the pool when my DD Chickkit called to say she bought our 2 day tickets for the show so we are good to go. Also she got her time share for us to use comfirmed on line. WOW I float in the pool and she makes everything happen. How wonderful is that!
See you in Orlando, Judy

So Glad I am living in Orlando,Fl this year, except for the heat. Looking fordward to meeting some new friends there from SCS. See ya their ladies.

Our AC isn't working again, it will be 91 and humid. So, I am looking at is as I'm prepping for Orlando in July!
hmmm, Lori, you aren't truly prepared until you've hung a purse on your shoulder, loaded a 7 pound capacity rolling tote with 28.4 pounds of *stuff*, tucked a cell phone into the waistband because you forgot to wear pants with pockets and balanced a water bottle between your side and your elbow.
Now, walk that way for 5.7 miles in a in-and-out weave formation....then you are prepped. :p
oh, and if you're really prepping, you'll know because those peanut butter crackers that you snuck into your tote in case you missed lunch... those crumbs are in a 5.4 mile trail behind you.

So you're saying I won't be able to do carry on when I fly back home?
**notes to self**
- no snacks that crumble or melt
- go to Home Depot, buy a tool belt and a reeeeeeealy long straw
- bring empty rolling trunk
- start training weave formation with 30 lbs of "stuff"

LOL! I'm going to set up some tires in the back yard and do a few run throughs a day until I'm beefed up. That's my prep for the weave formation!
