Hi everyone,
I just updated the calendar of events. Please let me know if there are other events to add or if anything has changed for an event that is already listed.
Thanks,
Mel
Stamper's Paradise is coming along great! Just click the link to go to the blog for updates. This is going to be a FREE place to stamp!!! You will be able to use stamp sets, ink pads and tools for FREE. I hope to have classes but do not plan on having parties intended to sell stuff. There will be more pictures on the blog before the end of the month plus BLOG CANDY to get everyone stamping before we open!!! See ya soon!

If you live in the Milwaukee area, on the weekend of June 25, 26, 27 there will be a used stamping/scrapbooking sale (by the customers) at Polka Dots (formeraly Stamper's Cupboard) in Mukwonago, WI. These are always fabulous sales with a huge amount of things to buy at great prices. Don't miss it if you are in the area this next weekend. The address is 555 Bay View Road. Phone 262-363-5592. And thanks for having this thread!
Does anyone know of anything like these events that happen in Eau Claire or north of that? I'm so far north that it is such a drive to go to these events in the southern or middle of the state...

Hi Robin, Everybody IS getting ready for Hartford. At least that is what I am doing after being gone for 5 days. Then I move my craft room upstairs from the basement so I was pretty busy with that trying to organize and all that . The steps were getting to much for me, getting old ya know? So my kids were here a couple weeks ago to move the heavy stuff, so now i'm putting the stuff away and the spare bedroom is in the craft room down stairs. Now I'm trying to catch up with the things I have to do for the swap. I suppose you are all done and ready to go. see ya in 9 days. Diane D
I am still in Milwaukee waiting for my new grandchild to arrive. It shouldn't be much longer now. Jenna is due August 15th, and her doctor has told her that the longest that she will let her go over is one week, so not much longer to wait!
Where can I get details about this swap. I live nearby in Kewaskum. Just found the CURDS today!
Vicki
Hi Vicki,
I'm not far from you! I live in Brandon, between Waupun and Ripon. I sometimes come to Kewaskum to ride the horse trails!

Hi Everyone!
The Hartford Swap was wonderful!!! As Always! There are several new dates added to our events calendar and a new code, USS is for Uses Stamp Sale. That will leave room for the address so we can all find the sales. If anyone knows of any other events, swaps or sales just post on here or send me a message to add them.
Hello Stampers, I am hosting my annual shoebox swap in South Milwaukee this October and have emailed information to past participants. I have a few extra openings this year due to scheduling conflicts. In case emails have changed, I am posting as well here. If you attended my event previously and would like to join in again, please pm me. If you are a referral from someone who previously attended, please pm me as well. If you are interested in learning more about it, I can email you guidelines before you decide you're able to participate. I take pride in this event being top-notch, but I'm only able to do so because of the amazingly generous participants that attend (ladies, you know who you are!!!!) So, if you're a top-notch swapper, can follow a few courteous rules, and have a good heart, you'll certainly fit right it.
I'm having an Operation Write Home Birthday Bash at my house. It will be Friday, September 10th, at my house. I'm located between Madison and Janesville, WI. PM me if you'd like more info.

Hi Carrie Ann, I would be interested in participating in your shoebox swap in October. My friend, Diane Dillworth, has participated in previous years and thought I might be interested. I live in Friendship, WI. Do you still have any open spots? If so, please e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks, Susie
Hi Susie! Any friend of the Friendship gang is a friend of mine.

If anyone's coming to Madison in Nov for the stamp/scrap show, want to try to do a lunch or dinner? If there's an interest, I'd be happy to set up a place and time.

What the french, toast? I wanna go.
Someone tell me about "registration." Is that only necessary for classes? What if I just want to shop?

French toast? Brunch? >smirk<
I've always only just shown up on the day I wanted to browse the floor and have felt much safer, budget-wise, that way. I think there are probably discounts if you register early, but I never have. (Ask me about the first year I went and didn't leave my credit card at home ... uh, no ... don't ask.)
As far as vendors and product, last year was pretty thin compared to other years, but I think the economy had a lot to do with that. It was totally fun to bump into SCS folk.
I'm still going this Nov ... gonna do my part (within my budget) to keep America in the green (or is it black? anyway ... out of the red), lol!
